Whata you know? It's 5:08 am est and the web site is down. My niece was in line since 7 pm Thanksgiving day for Compaq laptop--she got a ticket!. Interestingly they didn't start handing our tickets until 4:30am. If you wanted a ticket for a laptop, you could only get one regardless of which brand. She wanted the Compaq and Toshiba but that would not allow her to get but one. Guess that severly limits the ability of abuse and selling of tickets. Site still down--going back to bed. Glad I got most of what I wanted yesterday online.

Not sure what it's worth, but when I called on something else this morning the recording for the $299 laptop says it can be purchased online tomorrow morning starting at 5:00 am.

I went to our Kohls tonight and I have to say have the least on hold ever. Knew something had to be up because lots of stuff not out.

I have gone to Kohl's on Wed night the past two years, put my stuff on hold and went back on Friday to pick it up after I had made my other stops. Works really nice. I went really late on Wednesday last year and quite a few things were out but not some of the big bargins. Do you know if Kohl's is going to price adjust for the BF deals?

Waited in line for 4 hours to pay for a laptop last year. NO STRETCH!!!!!! Actually left after the inital 5 am start because we were told by a sales person that the laptop we were after was not available (not one that they passed out tickets on). My niece went back a couple of hours later and found they did have them, had them pull one for me and then we still waited 4 hours. Between the rebate receipts and heaven help us, the people who had to call the parents or spouse to ask if they should go for the special deals (free printer ,etc) was unbelievable. I actually went to CC Sunday and asked if they were ready for Friday--there response---our systems are so slow it will be horrible!
