I try to purchase gifts for the holiday and birthdays the following year. However, If we need to replace any items or want something specific then I will buy those items. We just don't get carried away with the wants.

That comercial made me laugh especially when she says... "like your entire family is having a birthday on the same day that you need gifts for" ... as a store employee passes by in the background with a decorated evergreen tree on a cart. HaHaHa!

Thank you for the helpful suggestion. I am not one to post much. Not because I don't want to, but because I am rather shy. Yes, even online. I worry if what I type will be misunderstood, my humor not coming across, or just not wanting to be 'center of attention' for that moment. I have been a member for so long that I figured it was time to give back and participate, so I shall try all I can to increase my posts in the correct manner.

We finally got our tree tonight... LOL.... the thing looks like it just rolled out of bed!
LOL...Maybe it needs a cup of coffee to start the season.

I missed the exchanges this year, but I am going to make sure I do not miss them next year. From what I am reading, it all sounds really fun to do and to be a part of.
