  1. I just got this one for Christmas(as a family gift)

    http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/625599/Canon-PowerShot-A1100-IS-12-1/

I am very happy with the A1100 so far. Took it to NFL game and the pics came out great, even on the highest zoom. Easy to use, not a fan of the video setting though. they are not good at all. Not sure If I have it on a bad setting, bcuz im no expert, but I will stick with the video camera for that cuz the ones it takes are not smooth.

I looked over quite a few Top 10 point and shoot reviews and that camera was usually on every list in the top 5. That is why I chose it, and Office Depot has a great 2 yr warranty you can buy so I went with them for the service.

  2. I have never went wrong with Gap espically jeans. DS5 has been in gap jeans since birth and I have never had a problem with them. They always last. I have tried others and I have never been happy. I do wish they were cheaper but they have alot of B1G1-50% off sales. I also like their play sets. I hate when clothes get "twisted" when you wash them and gap has never done that for me.
  3. I guess I could have said that the Garmin 360 DOES say street names which is one of the features I liked. You can also go online and add different vehicles to be you on the map, My DS4 loves that. I can let him hang on to it for a while and you never know what you will be driving when he gives it back. and it keeps him amused on the road and isnt hard to get back to the map screen when he gives it back.
  4. You are wonderful...thanks for the info!! :D

i think..not to sure but I TUNES videos are mpg4 files and my creative vision takes those without conversion.....I dont use i tunes so maybe someone else can tell me if that file type is right.

When I was looking into them a few years ago I looked on Amazon bcuz they list the techy specs and tell you what file types each of them will take

  5. Now...just need to know what type of software any of them use and can you get video downloads?

The software that comes with the creative products will let you know if the video needs converted and it will do it, but it accepts many more types than the ipod does. You can also add things that you have in your files by drop and drag which I like alot.

  6. My DS is asking for a DS for his birthday, it isnt until Sept so I have time to look around but I was wondering if anyone out there knew of places that have the best deals on them. and I could probably put it off until Christmas if there are good Black Friday deals, but I wasnt even looking at them last year so I dont know if it would be worth the wait?
  7. What about an older one that would get the adults out and entertain the kids, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins, I think back to the movies we watched in elementary school.

Finding Nemo might be a good disney choice since it is a "swimming" party.

My 4 year old is really into Clue right now, I love it too....... Has a little bit of adult humor but the little ones are to young to get it.

    and everyone loves Grease!!!!

  8. I dont care for the Ipod because of my downright hatred of i tunes, what if you dont have internet access and want to mess with your player, and they arent the user friendliest things either.

I love creative. I have had a Zen sleek, which I upgraded to the Vision M so I could have video access. I love it, easy to work with, plays great. My mom now uses the sleek and it is a great player but has no video

I did have one accident at the beach last year, a wave and a bunch of sand got the best of me. My mother bought me a zune to replace mine after the beach, I opened the box, messed with it a minute, boxed it back up and took it back and got the same one I had before. I actually wanted the Vision W, but the bulky size changed my mind.

  9. I am looking at getting a backyard pool. Im not interested in the blow up ring ones, I have seen too many horror stories about them coming down. My local Wal-Mart has 13 x 3.5 ft hard side for $199 and a 15 x 4 ft for $299. Are there any better deals out there I am not finding? Also if anyone has any pool advice I would love it. I am going into this with no prior info on pools.

    Thanks
