A word about the Roomba....apparently the one which is on clearance is an older model and it has a LOT of flaws. DH has been researching them for at least 6 months, and everyone with the older models have had a number of problems. So, unless you have a pretty basic need in a very uncluttered, unobstructed room, I'd skip it. We just bought the newest model, the 560, and it is great. We bought a reconditioned one on Overstock.com and have had it about 2 weeks. DH is in heaven and takes care of it entirely (woohoo!!) The older ones had a lot of problems with parts breaking and not being able to navigate that well. The new ones are pretty cool if you have had floors (it isn't great for carpets). We have hardwood & tile throughout the house. It does a decent job cleaning up after the kids on the rug under the dining room table, but we will still have to pull the old vacuum out once in a while.
Just my $.02, but wanted to toss it out there.
LOVE - LOVE my Roomba. Got it a few month back from woot.com. It is iRobot Roomba 535 Robotic Vacuum with Lighthouse Technology for $150 + $5 S/H = $155. (I believe when I researched back then it was $250 everywhere else.) This is the model they sell at BJ's and other wholesale clubs and some TV stations. This is the 1st model that has all the newest technology including lighthouse and better cleaning like already mentioned. I think the only thing it's missing over the newest model is scheduling cleaning..
We have hardwood, tile, lenolium and carpeted upstairs and it cleans everywhere beautifully. I only used the regular vacuum on the stairs and the area rug in the living room (it gets stuck under our weird leather/wooden coaches so I don't let it go there until we figure how to lift them a bit higher) for the last couple of months. I even find that I dust less since when the floors are clean the whole house feels cleaner for longer..
I think I bought the Roomba back in Feb and they were just selling them again at the end of May so I would check there often. From what I understand they put a new product at midnight every night then wait for all to get sold.

Happy to report we've finally assembled the Step 2 Train table for DS 2nd B-Day last night (and there was indeed a table in that huge box..LOL) You guys had me concerned with all the horror stories..LOL
Kids had a blast playing with it today along with gazzilian little take-along Thomas trains that I also got during Christmas 75% sale.
DS also got all those McQueen cars, Little People Doodle Pro, Little Einsteins V-Tech piano and another two toys - Lego set (from Lego site clearance) and Interactive Bear (from Amazon clearance). And DD4 got a new doll with a doll strolller (also from Target clearance..LOL)
Everything looks and works great!!!
(The table is awesome at keeping them occupied - which will be a lot of help - since we're thinking of keeping DD4 home from preschool for the next week.. Usually it's just me and DS2 at home.. With this stupid swine flu thing we're not taking any chances and we're going on vacation in a week in anyway so she might as well hang out at home until then..)

Yeah, I found some too and got shot down. One particular store always gives me fits. I try my hardest to pick the best cashier, but sometimes it just doesn't work. Most stores will sell them to me, but not this one. Ugh!
There are also the pink LPS decorate pets and I have found several Easter packs of Zubber. I bought the main kit and figure we can use the Zubber to make anything, not just the Easter shapes.
I found hot-wheels 6 pk. and Nickelodean Sponge Bob 3 pk. cars on the end-cap on Mon. Scanned $0. Cashier asked how much and I said .30 cents each - can't even remember how much these were to begin with??

Yes, Busch gardens is not far also there's williamsburg and jamestown. Va. Beach has an aquarium. There's the Va. Sports Hall of Fame and an Air Museum nearby. Also check out Oceana, you can take a tour of the base, little boys love it. There's also Fort Story. Also you can go on the chesapeake bay bridge tunnel, there's a restaurant on it and a pier you can walk on. Also see the wild horses at chicoteague. Have fun and Welcome to Virginia

So since our Mexico vacation just fell through (for obvious reasons) we are now driving two vans from CT down to Virginia - renting a big house with in-door pool on Sandbridge Beach - next Sat.
Just wondering if anyone has any advice on what to do there, places to eat, etc.
Busch Garden is about the only major attraction I see in the area??
Also if anyone has driven that same path before and/or any other relevant advice on driving with kids and getting deals along the way..

No way they can do that.. I understand that they screwed up and they have a right to cancel the order...That's about it!!! They charged you $18 on CC! They can either deliver goods or cancel order all together and refund! What they cannot do is charge your CC as they please!

After seeing lovetoshopCA's reply, I said oh no, I'm calling a manager now, because that's total BS...so I called and spoke to a very nice manager and explained the situation, and he told me he'd be there tonight, but would leave a note with my name on it at GS so they would be sure to honor the return...the girl at GS said they usually check out the returns pretty well, but as this person went so far as to glue the box shut, they probably never thought anything of it...my next step was to call corporate, if I got flack from the manager, but I didn't...and I'd hate to take my business elsewhere, but that's what I'd feel the need to do if I got further screwed by them not taking it back...I couldn't find the receipt, but luckily I always use cards when I shop there, so it wasn't an issue with receipt lookup...
I wondered if there was a way for them to track who returned it, too, but probably not...just makes me sick that people do that, but judging from the other posts since my original post, it's all too common, apparently...lesson learned, and from now on, I'll be checking my boxes out in the parking lot before I leave! Guess it's a good thing we had the water issue, or I probably wouldn't have opened that box until June, just before the baby is due, and I wouldn't have had any recourse at that point, since it would've been past the 90 days!
Now I have to hope I can find another "good deal," on another swing before June!
We have a big one, but could really use a travel one, too!Wow..imagine giving something like that as a gift!!! Now that would be worse! Especially if you don't have a super close relationship with that person and they don't feel comfortable enough to bring that up and/or think you were the one to switch that stuff..
Scarry thing is though..that wouldn't even have to be a clearance item, right? Just something that someone returned and you happened to buy? (or is there a reason why this happens with clearance items?)

i am looking for new pillows to sleep on. anyone seen any good deals on them?
I've got 3 at Kohl's during BF. It were the ones they had on-sale (not sure of the name but it was something like extra big??) Well they are super comfy - not steal like so many others.. We are very picky about our pillows and hated every single pillow we ever saw at the stores until these.. My only complaint - I should have gotten more..LOL Can't wait for BF, though they are prob. not that much more at the store now if they have them available. I would check Kohl's..

The Target coupons get taken off the price right away (for instance, if the pop was 3.67 and you used a $1 Target coupon then it would show up at 2.67).
Hmm.. Are you sure.. I used 3 other Target Q's a $1 each and I see those at the very end of the receipt with a bar code (so I was able to go back to where I printed those Q's and double-check which ones got applied.. I don't see the barcode for the two Dr. Pepper ones I wanted to use..)
I ended up paying $5 for two cartoons (12 cans each) which is not a bad deal but I was hoping for $3 for both of them.. I might stop by CS desk later this week to see if I can hav them apply those..
Do I have to go to T. right away with such a request or can I show up a few days later?

You can't adjust but might be able to return and rebuy?? (although I'm not sure how would you rebuy?? Even if that stuff gets put back on the shelf I doubt it will stay there even for a second..) If you happen to find things for 90% and buy them you can MAYBE return the stuff you bought at 75%.. I guess ppl. are saying that Target's policy is they give you the current price of Holiday clearance and not what you paid.. But there are states that have laws preventing that so you never know unless you try..
I can tell you in CT you can return Holiday clearance and they give you what you paid and not the current price. I went to another T. yesterday around noon so nothing at all left on the Easter shelf but I still found a few goodies around the store.
I found 4!!! Pink LPS Bunny Decorate kits in regular isle. I decided I will give these out as Party Favors for DD's 4th B-Day in July. Also Diego bubbles, Pooh bubbles, Robot basket. I bought all these things before at 50% & 75% so I was able to return with those receipts!!!

More specifically, it was the PINK bunny. There is a cream/tan bunny in the regular aisle that is not Easter.
Ohh.. that expains it.. because I saw this bunny in regular toy isle in one store (bought it at 75%) but then saw another one that I thought was just like it and was debating whether I wanted to buy one more but it scanned $11.xx
(I do remember this bunny was cream color.. now I have to go double-check if the one I have is pink..LOL)

It is ONLY holiday returns, and, again, some states do not allow the policy to be upheld. They probably still use the same signage regardless of state because some people will read it and not try. It is not a matter of employee or store choice. It is handled by the computer. So the employee is not able to override it.
I guess that means in CT I can return and re-buy Holiday clearance..Yey!!! That's Awesome!

Just FYI:
I think these are multiple use..
They have one posted on retailmenot that I just tested and it still works (I'm sure someone else must have used it before).
Also looks like you can only use 1 code per order so can't get free or discounted shipping since these codes really do go under coupon code and not under gift card..
