    Target Pantene/Perfect 10 Gift Card Deal thread

    So thanks to everyone's help, I went to Target today in Riverdale and tried to do the Perfect 10 deal.

     

    I only had a $2 off coupon. I went on line and bought one with it, and for some reason the coupon wasn't coming up on the system. The cashier just did a K1 to accept it anyway and I got my $5 giftcard.

     

    Went back on line and did it again with a 2nd box - $2 coupon, and same issue with coupon! This time a different cashier, she went on and on about how maybe the coupon wasn't supposed to work since I was getting a GC already out of the deal! I told her that I know others have successfully used the coupon and in fact I had no problems in a prior purchase. I said the other cashier did a "K1" to accept the coupon. She went off at me on how only managers can press "K1" and she isn't allowed to and I AM GETTING A $5 GC!!! And then she went on to say how SHE CAN READ. I'm like...umm..I was just telling you what happened last time. She kept bringing up about the $5 GC. Seemed like she just couldn't stand I was getting something already and wanted another $2 off. She finally just pressed "K1" and gave it to me, but still kept going on and on after the transaction was done. What a .... :eyepoppin

     

    Just wondering if anyone else had any problems with their $2 coupon at the register.

     

    So after that, I used the second GC to get a pack of $3.50 sale family size Lays Potato Chips ..needed some comfort food after that lecture!!! :cheesy:

    That was totally uncalled for, it's none of her business what you're getting for free, it's not like it's coming out of her pocket. I hope u got her name... I would talk to the manager if I were you. We're supposed to be treated as "Guests" not like thieves :no:

    Could someone please explain "the deal" here? I have looked through the thread and I do not see an actual description of what you buy, what you get, how much, gift cards, etc. Also, what is "perfect 10"?

     

    Please pardon my ignorance, but usually there is a description of the deal at the beginning of the thread. Thank you in advance!

    Ok, the deal is buy 3 (pantene shampoo, conditioner or hair stylers @ $3.79 ea.) get $5. There was a coupon from CVS for $2 on any pantene and a B2G1 free target peelie from the BIG bottles of pantene ($8.xx) , if you used all 4 Q's your OOP is $1.58 and you get a $5 GC. Buy 3 more & use 4 more Q's and pay with the first gift card and get another $5 GC, if you do it over and over it makes for a super sweet deal, but the CVS Q's are now expired (5-31) and good luck in finding the peelies from the big bottles, as soon as this deal began people started peeling all those target Q's. I've tried looking and can't find any :no: I hope I explained this correctly. Oh, the clairol perfect 10 (hair color) was another deal that I dont know too much about since I didnt do it.

    Are the video cameras (flip) still being found on clearance? My son is going to film their own movie this summer (I think this sounds like fun) and was going to look, I didn't see any the last month but probably may of missed them since I wasn't looking but just thought I would ask to see if some people are finding them. Also is the flip pretty easy to use?

    Good luck in finding these, they were all gone @ 50% here. I managed to get one and used the $5 Q :D . Target had the 60 min. Flip at $99 (orig. $149) a couple of months ago,on line only. I got 2 for my kids b-days (17 & 15yrs) I've heard alot of good things about these video cameras and that they're easy to use. Hope you find one. Oh, by the way the ones at the target stores are the 30 min. ones.

    So i learned a good lesson today...don't do all your returns at once! I returned 2 of the disney puzzles, 1 photokin, 1 pjs, 1 invitations, 1 window sealers today. They had a hard time locating the items on my Target card, and heads up if you try to return one of the disney puzzles...they don't even have the numbers in their system anymore, they have no record of having it! The person doing my return did credit me for my receipt but told me i had incorrect #'s on it! (I didnt!)...when I left the store i realized that she had credited me only $2.48 for the window sealers (I bought them at $5 and then found them 75% and rebought)...I was bummed that she had done the return on the lesser price! I was tired though and didn't want to go back in the store to change it (if they even would)

    Monday I returned 3 watches, a seat cover(car) and a golfing net, all at the same time with 3 different receipts. No problems.

    Flip Videos went to 64.xx today at the Target by my mom, she called to tell me because she got a great deal on it and my husband (not a deal hound like me) paid full price for my Ultra Flip Video.:no:

    I got one today too, used the $5 off toys Q :D , I asked 3 different employees about electonics going 75% still, and they all said yes. I asked because I've heard on this thread that @ some stores electronics weren't going 75% anymore. My Target had the same five Flips on the shelf for a whole month, so hopefully they will have some left over for 75%.:yup::gdparanoid:

    Thanks for the coupon. I'm running low on bandaids. Got a couple good deals yesterday, Isaac Mizrahi sunglasses $4.xx , lots of car airfresheners (hanging ones and the ones that go on the vent), flood lights $1.3x , nightlight bulbs $ .83, . Waiting for the Flip Video to go lower than $90. Anyone sees these cheaper please post.TIA

    Funniest thing happened at Target today. When I went Thursday there were still 2 Isles of Easter stuff left. So I was hopeful that there would be plenty left today. So I headed to the back of the store where the Easter stuff was and turned the corner and BAM! Nothing! It was all gone and replaced with household stuff. So I found an employee and asked if it had been moved. He said "The Easter Bunny came and got it all last night". Luckily I had a few stashes throughout the store. :) I headed out to get them and scan them and Yep, 90%! I was so happy! Tee Hee!!!! Thanks!

    Probably the weekend crowd took alot of it and the employees took the rest :gdparanoid::gdparanoid: I still haven't forgotten about GB, there was a ton of stuff the night before when I was there and I was the first one in the doors the next day and all the good stuff (that I wanted) was gone :mad:, so now if its small enough to hide, I hide it:yup::D

    Okay, sorry for doing a bunch of posts in a row, but just got back from my all day trek to several stores. DH stayed home with the little one who is on spring break to do fun stuff with him, so I had freedom!

     

    Anyway, had to share my freakish experience! I was in a store that I go to only a few times a year and I kept feeling like the security guy was following me around. :gdparanoid::gdparanoid: It was weird. I felt like I was going to get in trouble for doing something wrong even though I wasn't doing anything. :eyepoppin I was, however, wandering around looking to see if I could uncover anyone's Easter stash. I know the good hiding places, and I did find some goodies. :razz:

     

    Well, as I was walking around, I thought I was seeing a lot more than the usual number of security guys. I was squatting down to look at something on the bottom shelf of one aisle, and one of them was squatting down by the end cap and looking down the row like he was trying not to be seen. That REALLY freaked me out! :eek::shock: Then I see some of them running through the aisles and doing the squat and peek thing. So I kept browsing around and finally saw a group of like 4 guards walking down the main aisle and asked if something was going on. Turned out they were having some sort of final training test for some certification!! :rolleyes:

    OMG, I saw the security guard acting weird today too, walking through the main isle and just being super alert, as I had just finished stashing some candy for 90% I thought "crap, they see me hiding stuff all the time, they're on to me" :gdparanoid::D but maybe they were doing the same training. Oh, and post away as much as you want, I've saved alot of money by reading others great finds.:cheesy::cool:

    My husband just bought me the FLIP utra 60 minute one and I love it. I always have a hard time having a camera to film my babies when they are being goofy and now I can have it right there. I love it. I heard the 30 minute is not enough, but I find it hard to believe you will flip it up in one session. I taped over Easter and around my house the past couple of days and have only used 20 minutes. I highly recommend it and 90 is a good price, though 50% off will be even better.

    Thanks for the feedback, since I'm getting one for my DD18 and DS16 I guess I better get the 60 min., $99. Target website only, orig. price $149.99. Does the website have the same clearance schedule as stores or is it different?:blush:

    Wallies is actually a brand name. They are vinyl peel & stick wall murals by Roommates. That said, the ones on clearance vary by store. Some stores only have a few of the non-licensed ones on sale like sports, etc. Others have only certain licensed ones on sale like Thomas, Curious George or Hello Kitty. Many (mostly smaller) stores don't carry them at all. If yours has them, they will be in hardware with the stuff like paint brushes etc.

    they had them at my target at one of the endcaps by the frames-wall art section, cant remember how much they were, just remember seeing them there.
