I am in a very large city, i show up early thanksgiving morning before most even start to wake up. most people here dont show up till around noon, last year, i think there was only 5 of us in line around noon after that is when the line really started to grow

BJS hasnt been seen or heard from in almost a year, i would think its safe to say we wont see him around this year. I go back to last year, we only had a few webcast before he went missing

Ive been the first in line at my local Target store the past couple of years. I usually get there around 6am and its 3-4 hours before anyone else gets there, I take all my electronics with me so I have something to pass the time and read the site here for those last minute deals and do some online shopping, connect to the Target wifi hehe

lol I do the same thing, my family splits between two stores, so its nice to know what is cheaper at either so we have our list, we grab everything and then call and see what we got and if the other couldnt get something the other can just for a little more

for malls, they have said if the store has exterior entrances the store can set its hours, if its only entrance is by the mall then of course people cant get in so the store should be closed

this year I am going to miss Movie Stop, they were a stop for me every year and now its going to be a big void without them, no other place around anymore for used movies

I would prefer it to be on Friday after all the shopping day is called Black Friday, having sales start on Thanksgiving Day defeats the purpose of it. I am happy to see more and more store are deciding to close on Thanksgiving, but its going to take a major retailer to do so for the others to follow

for something that I file it under DONT TAKE THE CHANCE, go buy it now. some items you just cant hold off and wait for a better deal as then that better deal might not come

Walmart will lose a ton of business if they do this at all their stores, I PM everything at my local store, if they stop doing it, they just wont get my $$ for that item I will go buy it at the store its on sale at its that simple, they will regret the decision if they do it, the thing of it is those of you that have store that already have this policy should do this, REFUSE to give them the $$ for items you can get cheaper elsewhere and make sure they know you are doing so because of that reason. take the item to the register ask for a PM when they refuse it then you refuse to buy it from them. make sure you play it out go up the line, all the way up to store manager. eventually when the managers start saying hey people are going elsewhere they might rethink the decision if you read the article in the link i posted it says they will still Pm their own website in the stores that stop

something I always in the need of is gottadeal cards, I stand in line all day would be nice to hand something out to show people where to go to see the deals , I never have anything on me that has the website address or anything like that to give them
