ok it took me awhile but I finally found an article posted on Oct 20, 2016 http://everyonelovescouponing.com/big-changes-walmarts-price-matching-policy/ about the only change that i see for those of us that have stores that they can still PM at is that you can no longer PM from Thanksgiving Day to Cyber Monday. BUT it is always best to follow up with the store you plan to shop at and find out what the policy is that they will follow and only trust the info you get from the Manager of the store. Last year I had to call the Store Manager to get my PM done because the employees were refusing to do it when i had the ad in front of me that clearly said PM guarantee, he quickly fixed that issue

NO Walmart did not QUIT Price Matching only some stores did, please check with your local store as most store around the country still do

I have worked stock at both stores Target and Walmart, at this time of year, they get stock in and the boxes will be marked do not open, hold until xx date, this tells them its BF merchandise and not to stock it, those boxes are loaded onto special pallets and put off to the side and not opened until that day or day before and setup. This is why you never see either of these stores have a stock issue with oh we didn't get that item.

Walmart is smart, if they have them in their BF ad, they will have their stores not put them out on the shelves for sale to ensure product for BF sale

Walmart Guaranteed items are only Electronic items where they can get thousand of stock to ensure they can fulfill the guarantee

usually the way the iphone deal works at Sam's Club is like this, they will have so many of each carrier and when they are gone you are SOL supply is short so be there early if you want one

Paula I will keep this topic moderated nicely for you, I feel for ya honestly until you do it you dont know how its going to be, I know you had said one of the places would be Walmart, why dont you go talk to the store manager at the store you plan to shop at and talk to him about it, maybe he/she might be able to come up with a plan that would make it safe for your daughter where she can enjoy shopping with you still

PS3 you can get at Game stop used, I dont think you will find it new anywhere, if you want a Kinect type system then you want the Xbox One as it has that and games for it. I dont know much about the Xbox Ive been a PS or Nintendo person, I have the PS4 and Wii U in my home, we want to get a Xbox One but it wont be this year maybe next. All the games that I want come out on PS4 nothing I have seen are exclusive to just one system except for the Nintendo games, like my DD is a huge pokemon fan so we have to have that system in the house for those games as its exclusive to them. The Wii U however out of the 3 is the only system that you can play all of the old games on without any problems you just do a simple system transfer and viola all your data is there and you all set. if your a Mario, Sonic, Pokemon fan then the Wii is for you.
