  1. I think what you are planning to do with it is the most important part. Then, how much do you have to spend. There are several good deals out there. Here are a few: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lenovo-yoga-7-2-in-1-16-2k-touchscreen-laptop-amd-ryzen-7-8840hs-with-16gb-memory-1tb-ssd-artic-grey/6571363.p?skuId=6571363 Lenovo - Yoga 7 2-in-1 16" 2K Touchscreen Laptop - AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS with 16GB Memory - 1TB SSD - Artic Grey This is a touchscreen. You may not want that, but it is a solid chip, 16GB RAM, 1 TB SSD (which for most people 512GB is enough). At $549.99, it isn't a budget buster. https://www.newegg.com/asus-f1605va-ns74-16-0-intel-core-i7-1355u-16gb-intel-iris-xe-graphics-512-gb-pcie/p/N82E16834236519 ASUS Vivobook 16" WUXGA Laptop - Intel Core i7 1355U - Intel Iris Xe Graphics - 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD - Indie Black - F1605VA-NS74. You are giving up hard drive space, but it comes in at $499.99. You can add a External USB hard drive, several TBs, under $100 and move it from computer to computer. https://www.costco.com/dell-inspiron-15.6"-touchscreen-laptop---amd-ryzen-7-7730u----fhd-1920-x-1080----windows-11.product.4000262474.html Dell Inspiron 15.6" Touchscreen Laptop - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U - FHD (1920 x 1080) - Windows 11. It is 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD. Comes in at $449.99. You would need a Costco membership though. And, if you can't get a feel for what you want, there is always Cyber Monday.
  2. I think there are plenty of people that work on Thanksgiving. There are firemen, police, doctors, nurses, and many others that do work and have worked. When you take a job, you take the good and the bad. I worked in warehousing for a long time and in my early years, I spent a lot of time in the food industry, supplying restaurants. We worked holidays. Amazing how many people go out to eat on Thanksgiving. Those that supply the food are there, shipping it, preparing it, cleaning up behind them. It just is what it is. If you want that day to spend with family, request it off in advance or find an industry that does not open. I am against anyone attempting to restrict people's freedoms. If someone wants to shop on Thanksgiving and businesses want to open, that is their right. Personally, I rarely venture out on Thanksgiving, but I will order stuff online.
  3. I used it a couple times, they canceled all but the first one.
  4. I looked at it, then decided to use the $10 promo code on 2 shirts for my sons for Christmas. They were on clearance for $9.99, normally $30.00. I bought 2 shirts for $17 including shipping.
  5. If you go to the BF ads here and click TVs, these two deals are on this site.... Sam's Club Hitachi 42” Widescreen 1080p LCD HDTV $598.00 Sears Zenith 42" Widescreen 720p Plasma HDTV $499.99 It is just my opinion, but I think the prices come down. I bought a 42" 1080P Sharp from Walmart on their Sat sale for $498. It was a great deal. Best Buy also had a matching offer on their Insignia. I get the feeling we see some price wars on these TVs. It is the only reason why the ads are being protected so well. The major retailers want to beat each other and draw the crowds.
  6. I went this morning and arrived at 6:45. The store was open (Grocery side) and my wife and I went in. We went to electronics and there were no TVs. The people in the back had no clue. No real crowd, so we decided to head to customer service to see if they knew. When we got to the front, they had a display with the TVs. They had 3 of each size. THREE. How can you have a sale with only 3 of each? Anyway, we nabbed one, loaded it in the buggy and headed to the site to store (picking up a crib). At 7:30, we headed back up front and there was a line and they were not allowing anyone to get the items. We just waited, checked out, and left. I am sure people were wondering how we got ours as we rolled right by....
  7. You can buy a Viore or an Element at Walmart for $328 right now. Not the best name brands, but for them to really be a BF deal, I would think they need to get under the cheapest LCD in that size.
