Update: I said that I would update when I had some news. First I have to say thanks to ourhappyfamily4 OP. I have wanted this style boot for a long time. The bonus is that they are Timberland's.

 

I got my boots today. I love love love them. They fit perfectly. The extra charges dropped off my account, today. I just can't say thank you enough. Awesome! I would totally order from Tractor Supply again, too.

I ordered these but not without issues. I made the mistake of not creating an account first. I added the boots to my shopping cart, went through the process and clicked "place order." I was looped back to the "shipping address" page like the order was not placed. I logged into my checking account to find "2" pending debits for $19.55. I called customer service. He didn't know why it did that, but I did not have an order (searched by name, phone and email). But he assured me that the charges would drop off. Hope so cause I created an account and ordered them. This time I got the confirmation email and an order number...HOWEVER I also got another "2" pending charges on my card.

 

I have printed my bank page and will continue to watch these. I am hoping it is just how they check your card and they will in fact drop off. They would be full price at this rate.

 

I will update when the smoke clears. Thank you for the post. I have wanted a pair of these for a LONG time and they even were my size.

i've never had a george foreman grill, but it seems like it might be worth the extra $$ to get that one.

 

how big are these? it'd be dead useful at the office.

I have the regular one with the plates that do not come off and I think that it is a pain to clean! I would really consider spending the extra $ to get one with the removable plates. My husband and I always fight over who has to clean the one we have...since these prices are good, I am thinking of just buying the nicer one and doing away with the old one.

I have had a couple versions of these. It does a fine job, but the cleaning is a pain. I decided if I get a new one, it will have removable plates.

Just a word of warning, this doesn't always work out. I tried this during the Stride-Rite sale, ordered 6 pairs of shoes, chose "Pay by Check" and then a few days later tried to switch it and pay with my card. Well, none of the shoes I had ordered were available for shipping for at least 3 months, some as long as 6 months. Two pairs I'd ordered were canceled a month later, and after that, I just canceled the rest of them because the wait was getting to be ridiculous.

 

I think Amazon oversells on purpose or something, but it's very frustrating when it happens. Just thought I'd let you know that you might not get your item anytime soon, if ever. I don't ever use pay by check anymore because of this.

I pulled some time on the phone at Amazon and found this little tip. If you place an order and chose "PAY BY CHECK" then you reserve that item (they can't sell it again, it has been sold to you). I ordered one and plan on entering my Credit Card when I get my income tax and having this shipped to ME!!!!!

UPDATE: BF comes home with a dozen fish he was going fishing with, but the lake was too low. I now have 15 fish I don't want!
