I thought it would be cool to start a thread for deals on Gift Cards. I am not talking about Ebay or Craig's but promo deals restaurants and stores are running on GC's this year. (Maybe the mods would even make it a sticky?)

 

I noticed that my local Applebee's is running a special where if you buy $50 in GC's you get a $10 bonus card.

 

Also, Lowe's is having a special for every $100 GC you buy you get a $20 GC by mail (if your request is postmarked by 12/8 they are guaranteeing you will get the $20 GC before 12/24).

 

Anyone else seen any good deals on GC's?

[Samsung Washer Dryer Question]

How much was the Samsung set selling for in your location? Another poster said she got hers for $760. I am trying to figure out if this is a regional thing or if that is the price for all locations. Thanks.

 

I'm in suburban NY and it was:

 

washer: 522.49

gas dryer: 540.49, so 1063 and then 75 for delivery and haul away, which will come back via a rebate and lastly tax of 95.31, so all told it came to 1233.29 before rebate.

[Samsung Washer Dryer Question]

I went today and ordered the white Samsung set around 11est. I just got a call from the salesman who asked us to come back in tomorrow as they have to substitute an LG set for the Samsung. I guess the demand was just too great.
