  1. THAT would be the first I've ever heard of Target pricing adjusting clearance items. Good luck though! :) :fluffy:

I have a feeling you talked to a manager who either 1) didn't fully understand your question or 2) is just so new that he isn't aware of the price adjusting poicy.

Who knows- maybe he is a new manager, but I have his name and remember his face, so he is stuck!

To answer someone's question earlier, I would bring back the items with you, or at least the boxes....

  2. Lots of stuff left at 121 & Custer in McKinney, but all 50% so nothing seemed like a super great deal. Lots of people, but they were only grabbing 2 or 3 items.

Got 2 rolls of wrapping paper since that's the only thing I really needed.

I'm sure it's posted somewhere but, anyone know when it usually goes down to 75%?

The manager at 121 & Custer said we could could price adjust, even on the clearance stuff! Take your receipt back in when it turns to 75% and have it adjusted!!!!

  3. I have a question about netbooks. My son mostly goes on facebook, checks emails - which I know he can do on a netbook, but he also goes on sites like Roblox and Club Penguin. Will that work on a netbook?

I think it would be good. From what I understand though, videos might run slow on a netbook (like youtube), but that is just what other people have told me.

  4. For a 5 y/o I think it would work fine, just remember that it does not come with an internal CD-ROM drive. That may or may not be an issue.

He plays games online, at noggin or play house disney. I don't think it will be:)

  5. I bought the one from Target as well (and is the one that I am already wearing out the F5 key on as we speak). I like it alot, the only thing is that the keyboard and touch pad size size is taking some getting used to with my big bear claws.

I'm worried about the size, too, but I guess you can't beat being able to carry a computer in your purse!

  6. WOW. I went into my Target today (yes, the same Target I have called twice) to buy my items. I was talking to an employee who said that she was told that they WOULD NOT price match or price adjust on BF!

She could tell I was upset because I had taken the time to call and then she was told differently. She called a third manager and that manager said "I don't know who would tell her that, but the answer is no." I marched up to the customer service desk with the employee and explained everything to them. They seemed frustrated because they, too, had received mixed info from management.

One of the girls at customer service assured me that SHE would take care of me on Friday morning, even if I have to return the items and she resales them to me on the spot.

Here are the lessons we should all learn from all of this:

    1) Print the Target policy and take it with you.

    2) When you talk to an employee who tells you "yes," get their name!

    3) Talk to a manager who will be present on Friday!

    4) If you are price adjusting, make sure to have the items in your car on Friday, just in case.

    5) Act really mad (but rational) and you will get your way.;)

Sorry if I sound overly frustrated, but I always do my homework, and this just pisses me off. Target has always been great with customer service, but they better figure it out quick or they are going to lose loyal customers...

  8. Devilpup00, that price match will not work. Target does not price match "Timed events (e.g., early bird, doorbusters)". Doorbusters at OM run from 7-12am so this makes it a timed event.

It will work at my Target! I bought the Acer for 199, but found out the Office Max will have it for 149 on Black Friday. I called the manager and explained and he said yes! They will honor ads on Black Friday, even timed ones.

Check your local Target, because the rules DIFFER a little bit at each store!!!
