While I was on one of the aisles the pricing team leader was there talking to another employee and asked if she would be there next week. The girl said she didn't know and asked why and the lady said because next week is big and she needs her. A little later I asked if they were going to 75% next week and she said that she didn't know, but if she did she couldn't share that information. Then she said that I probably knew more about it than her anyway. LOL. However, I'm guessing that from what she said to the other employee that it is definitely next week.

All the Camp Rock stuff at my Target is only 50 percent off. My kids love Camp Rock, so I hope I can get a bigger discount soon.
  2. Recently I've seen several contests that allow entries through the internet AND through regular mail (envelope with postage). Do you guys think there is an advantage entering one way over another? And I wonder what they do with the mail-in entries. Does someone manually input them into the computer? I guess what I want to know is how the heck do they combine both forms of entry? Anybody out there know?
  3. The Step2 website has a Deluxe Canyon Road Train & Track table that is great for toddlers. According to their site it has a molded in track and non-removable bridges which keeps Mom and Dad from constantly having to reassemble the track which also reduces frustration for toddlers. It works with Brio, Thomas Train, Hot Wheels, and Matchbox sets. It won Best Holiday Toy 2005 by Nick Jr. magazine. I personally haven't seen these in local stores. But you could try Toys R Us. Or you could just visit the Step2 website. They regularly have sales online with free shipping. good luck.
  4. You are lucky! Once stuff goes to .01 here, they pull it and if you are lucky enough to find something still out they refuse to sell it. They did that to me about a week ago and I immediately demanded both the district and regional office phone numbers.

Can you tell me the results of the phone calls to the district and regional offices? I've had the same thing happen to me twice where the cashier refuses to sell me children's vhs videos for 1 cent after the cash register clearly rings it up for a penny. All the cashier says is "nope, I can't sell it to you." No explanation as to why it can't be sold. I've e-mailed the Dollar General customer service and never received a reply back. I'm just curious if you've ever received an answer.
