  1. I just spent half hour running around with "customer service" and they're telling me that my code (nice4u) didn't apply to my order. They saw the code, it just didn't apply...and the final person I spoke with said that it didn't apply because of the clearance item. I found another item on clearance, went through the whole process, except placing the order, and it never once said anything about the code not applying. Well, hopefully the customer service department that is going to "get back to me" will be able to give me my $10 back.

kudos to JCP.... they never "got back to me", but they did refund the amount for using the code :)

  3. I never go to Target, but plan on going after seeing this post. ARe the clearance items in one big sections? Or is like that baby clearance in baby section?

    NEVER?!?! :eyepoppin

Just kidding lol. I didn't used to go "as much" either...and didn't realize just how much got clearanced regularly. I thought that getting shoes for a few dollars was just "good luck", but now I regularly peruse the store.

To answer your question...Clearance items are found all over the store. Baby clearance is in the baby section, bikes clearanced are still with the bikes, etc. "End caps" is where you'll find a lot of clearanced items also. What that means is this...instead of walking down the main isles when going from department to department, take the other end of the shelves...you never know what you'll find :yup:

I'm tempted to go back today and get another 2 bikes...for my husband and me, although I *gasp* want to ok it with him first! lol

  4. :tongue1:

Don't let that stop you..I leave my house thirty minutes before I have to, just to make my early morning (8:00 a.m.) PP and then I go back during my lunch hour..if I can, I sneak one last trip in on the way home...lol..the good thing is my target is about half a mile from my job and maybe a three miles from my house..so I hit both of them up daily...:D OMG I think I may be a Target addict.....:eyepoppin

LOL well, the new job I am adding to my day is working in my dd's school cafeteria. So, I'll start with my bus run at 7 until 8:30 when I park my bus and go into the school to work...then come out at 2 to go back on my bus until 4.

Really...it's probably for the better! ;)

I do have to add that I couldn't resist (speaking of addict!) and went today...found a family tent, a 2-3 person tent, an adult sleeping bag, croquet set and a 21 speed mountain bike all at 75% off....added a pair of shoes I need for work for $22 (if I didn't NEED them for work, I would have passed!), and all of that came out to around $100! :eyepoppin

...my husband told me that Target will probably announce in 3 months that they've had a drop in sales and will have to lay people off just because I won't be there as frequently :tongue1:

  5. lots of camping clearance 75& off- also lots of bras and undies marked 75% off- and many frames were 50% off- wanted the jewelery armoire- 75% off 24.99- but figured I really didn't NEED it ( the first time that has ever stopped me.) LOL

Thanks for the heads up! ...I was waiting for the camping to go 75% and if I don't get there in the next couple of days, I'll be out of "luck". I start a new job next week, which will keep me from shopping so much! ...oh the horrors of not being able to catch the markdowns as they are happening!

  6. A little bit away from home today, so I called a Target in this area. 90% off in the Harrisburg, PA area today Friday, Dec. 4.

I'm just south of Harrisburg a half hour and it was still 75 in East York today :(

I did find some AA batteries back near electronics that...well...weren't on clearance or anything, but for a box of 5 "2 packs" (10 batteries) it was cheaper than the ones they have packaged as 10 AA batteries. Why it was cheaper to buy more packaging, I'll never understand!

  7. no PA one  that's not friendly :(

Yeah, it's unfortunate! The closest you get is south of Baltimore or the one out in New Jersey. We did this as a family a few years ago with the Baltimore one, but it took us almost 2 hrs to get there each time...still was a good deal, considering the normal prices to get in, but the travel was kind of a bummer. We went about once a month and learned how to pack our food! lol

  8. My 5yr old DD was just looking over my shoulder and saw the picture of the horse. She said that's what she wanted for Christmas. I said "I thought you wanted butterscotch" When I explained the difference she said she wanted the brown one. That way she can make up her own voice. Plus she said she doesn't want to use up all those batteries!

What to do? I can return butterscotch at our local Kolh's. Although I'm sure I can sell it to someone since I got it for $172. Our do I just keep it because she doesn't know what she talking about and will fall in love with it.......

I say return it or sell it...and then you can buy her the cheaper one that she says she wants! There are lots of options for the money you'll save/gain!
