Benton, AR Best buy
9:47 am 1 person in line (just reported to me)
-
My biggest issue is the size of them. The sz 1 packs only have 50 diapers, so you're getting 100 for $10 -- but Walmart has their brand for $15 a box and it has 180ish diapers in it. So cost wise, its not that great a deal. The wipes, however, are a good deal.
-
we're going to head that way after Thanksgiving dinner. Dropping kids off at great grandma's then making the hour drive to LR.
-
I do also think you should call corporate though
-
There's always a line to get into electronics at our store. They let in 5-10 people at a time to the department.
-
Darn it, I was at Central. I did call my MIL who was in the Albert Pike WM and she didn't see any...she apparently didn't look in the right place, oh well.
Yeah, she didn't tell me where, but I called to have her check on something and she had to get out of the "Kitchen madness"
Did you make it to Old Navy to get the MP3 player?
-
Walmart was my next to last stop this morning (had to run back to the mall after I thought I was through). We were there at around 10:00 am and I seen most of the doorbusters still available also. The only thing I really wanted in there was a couple of the $3.98 mini choppers (they really do work, lol) and that was the one doorbuster I didn't see.
Albert Pike or Central?
There were tons left at Albert Pike when I spoke to a friend at 9:45

Our sears was out of everything we had on our list from everyone. They didn't get any of the down comforters in the store at all.
That is what we picked up ourselves. MIL, and some friends were in Walmart, kmart, target, tru, radio shack, kohls, circuit city, best buy, and a few other places to pick up stuff from our lists, as we picked up stuff from there's.
-
We got them in the mail on Monday.
But our papers were lacking several ads (I.E. they only had 3 total in them, one for walgreens, one for sears, and one for goody's)
-
No where on the TV ads did it say first 50 peopel
In fact I just pulled the ad out of the paper and this is how it reads
Free MP3 player a $40 value~
{preloades with free tunes}
with purchase of $20 or more*, while supplies last
* Offer valid November 23, 2007 on purchases of $20 or more at participating stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico while supplies last. Certain restrictions apply. See stor for details. ~Approximate U.S. dollar retail price as of September 4, 2007.
But I guess they have to draw the line somewhere
That right there tells you its limited though --- WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. Also, see store for details.
I'm half tempted to return the stuff I got since I got better deals elsewhere. I think tha Ad really should have said the 1st 50!
I want to also call there CS to complain. Maybe next year they will be smarter.
I'm sorry you are upset --- but it did say while supplies last. And for the record, not every store had 50, our store only had 30, so they could not say that in the ad. Its just like the things at Best buy -- store minimum of so many. You wouldn't expect to be 125th in line and get something that the store had a minimum of 12 of.
They didn't quote how many they had, they just said free with 20 dollar purchase while supplies last. Apparantly your store had a supply of 50 and the first 50 patrons in the door got those 50.
-
I went to Old Navy first -- while DH tackled Lowe's which was across the way. I was about 5th in line.
Our store only had 30 players, and the first 30 people in line got the wristbands.
It was pretty known that there were limited quantities, so I knew that if I waited until long after opening, I wouldn't get one.
The good news was that if you had the wristband -- as long as you came back within the blitz hours, you were guaranteed a player if you spent the $20.

MIL is #11 in Best Buy line right now.
She got in line around 1 or 2 this afternoon.

I would go with another brand over Polaroid.
-
I wouldn't do it. Besides the quality of that model. Polaroid isnot a very reliable company to get parts from in the instance your tv does have problems (even under warranty)
I work for a TV Repair shop, and we had 2 or 3 poloroids in the shop for over 6 months waiting on parts from the company.
-
I wanted to let everyone know that we bought this last year and about a month ago the color started going out.
Maybe we just got a bad one! If not, save your money! It's not worth it!
What brand was it?
You should still be under Parts warranty. Labor warranty is only 90 days, but parts is a year. usually 2 years on the picture tube.
-
Some are wrapped, others are not. That's how it was when I was growing up and we're following that.
-
Depends on the item.
Either bags, or wraped
-
Ok here it is so far.
Old Navy
Then to the mall for FYE
JcPenney's for the globes
Sears possibly
-
Yep! I may see you there...like I said, I haven't decided yet. :)
LOL. I"ll be in my GD shirt.
Good Luck :)
-

Baby's 1st Christmas Stocking stuffers

Posted
My youngest was 4 months last Christmas, in her stocking I put a few rattles, teething rings, wash cloths, and socks and a First Christmas Bib.
This year she'll be 16 months old Christmas day. I plan on putting smaller toys and snacks in there. Plus a toothbrush. Not sure what else.
