I have an hour drive to any of the major stores, I just normally leave around 2 or 3 and go to the supercenter that stays open all night. This year though we may go to MIL house because she lives about 5 minutes away from the base, so we can hit there first.

If the WM is going to Price Match then I would do it all there. (Maybe go in a day or two before and make sure they have the SAME time that is on sale in the other ad.)

I went to Penny's yesterday and I got the $7.99 towel + 1 for $0.99 and I also got two pillows for $3.88each normally $8.99. Then I went to bath and body works to use several of my freebies and $10.00 off purchase card I've received in the mail. They had the shower gel for $5.00 each, I got four of those, the free lipgloss, a tote bag(normally $65.00 for $25.00) then I used my $10.00 off from $30.00 order. Then I got a free candle and a music cd with the purchase of a $3.00 bar of soap. Then they handed me two 10off a $30.00 order as I checked out... I've already passed then along to family as I got some in the mail friday too.

my dad is also hard to buy for, actually tells me not too. I normally just get some hunting gloves or camo for him. Something he will use.

I have my gifts wrapped in one type of paper and Santa Gifts come in different paper ( they get two from mom and dad) Santa Gifts are wrapped in paper that usually has some meaning to the kids ie Bratz. Pokemon, etc if available. Paper from mom is just plain ole christmas paper

I take my DH with me.. or better yet.. I drag him with me. My DD and DS stay with their grandparents while we shop till he drops. (lol)

We have two christmas one at my house and one at my grandparents house.

Normally the stores get new stock for BF so the only problem is getting there before the item is gone.

We normally adopt a family at work and church, and then I also give for the toys for tots program.

I would be fine for a 5 year old. We have had the color, sp and now the DS. This has been over the past 5-6 years and my DS is 10 and still will pull out the color system to play.
