  1. OMG I am laughing my butt off. My first though---POT at AMAZON? LOL They do sell everything!
  2. Honestly, that is the way I understand it. The content that is available for that seems to be the same as for watching instantly.
  3. I second that, but have to relay a funny story. DD has a SonyEriccson w580i phone with an mp3 player built in. She had had it 2 weeks and it disappeared! The whole neigborhood had been playing int he culdesac that day and I really fussed about her "losing" it. We replaced it under the insurance. Two weeks later, it turned up in the field down the road from the house, with little bitty fingerprints all over it (much too small to be anyone in my house) Apparently someone else really liked it too and toted it off. Anyway, it was fullof water. When I took the battery out, I literally poured water out of the back of it, but I wanted to try to dry it out because I wanted the memory card to get some songs off of. I put it in a bag of rice for a few days, and when I pulled it out, I opened the back and it came on. I has worked since then and I can't find anything wrong with it. I am sure we just got lucky, but this is the second Sony I have had with water damage that was revived. (one got dropped in the pool).
  4. My kids are 9,8,8 and they weren't thrilled with this one. It does have some fun stuff but it seems a little hard to control. We were glad we rented it before we bought it. My neighbors up the street, however, have kids 13,14,17 and they love it. I think it all really depends on what you like. A little tip, make sure remotes are on wrists tight with this one. Some of the games (like shotput) regular throwing and we had remotes go flying more than once. :)
  5. I have a Zune, and absolutely love it. I just Zune's subscription service, which is unlimited downloads to the Zune for $14.99 a month. You can't burn them but I don't want to anyway. I will probably buy DD one for Christmas because you can have three devices ont he same account and it is really easy to use.
  6. Got mine today. It is a cd of standup from Jerry Seinfeld. Still for the price I'm happy. Not sure yet how long it is though. Still listening (and laughing). LOL
  7. I don't have the whole set, but I have one of the small saute' pans and one of the 2 qt pots (bought seperately at the outlet a while back) I wish I had bought the whole set and I am still debating it to be honest, even though I don't really need it right now. :)
  8. You are welcome. I ordered a few more things myself. I can't resist Pampered Chef. A friend of mine who's a rep told me that there will be a lot more stuff coming to the outlet soon, as they are discontinuing a lot of things (seasonal and stuff) I don't know about you,but I could personally care less if it's last season's pizza cutter. I'm ok with that. :)
  9. https://www.thepamperedchef.com/ordering/prod_details.tpc?prodId=228&catId=132&parentCatId=132 This is from the online Outlet catalog. 10. I thought it was just me. I have actually found a few (not many though) things on Subscribe & Save that I thought were close enough to Walmart price to just have them delivered. My DD9 still wears Goodnites and she was always worried that we would run into a friend when we were buying them at the store. $13.41 for a large pack is really comparable and spares her that worry.
  11. I have Amazon Prime because I forgot to cancel the free trial. :) I love it though. Lots of time I have let a small item pass by even though it was a good deal because of shipping. Now I check Amazon first for just about everything. I am really pleased with it and think it was worth the money.
  12. I have a coupon code for Gymboree for 20% off entire purcashe in store or online. It's good through March 9, 2008. Please pm me if you want it. If you are going to use it online i can pm back the code or if you want it for store, send address and I will drop in the mail.
  13. xfountaingrl, You may want to check and see if there are hotels around you that have the tempurpedic mattress or the sleep number beds and test them out before deciding. Of course, they would be your more expensive places, but it would be well worth it when you are talking about making that big of an investment. I found these two links for you. http://www.tempurpedic.com/about/partnerships/hotels/ http://www.radisson.com/sleepnumber
  14. I had one for two years, but my ex really wanted it when we split so he got it. The tempurpedic mattress can be hard to roll over on until you get used to it. Also, I found that I went to sleep very well but woke up feeling like I was burning up. Don't read this next tip if you don't want TMI.
  15. WooHoo! I love the Wii and I am not a video game person. The kids love Carnival Games and it's family friendly. Cow racing on the Wii Play is a real hoot. Have a great time!
  16. About sharing an account, does it have to be someone who lives in your house? Do you all have to live at the same address? Just wondering, because if you don't, that would be awesome.
  17. At our house, I put the Wii in the living room (we had the gamecube in DS's room) initially because I wanted to keep an eye on the system. After all, I had a hard time finding it in the first place and it was expensive. I can't afford to replace it. I've decided that it will stay there permanently because I can more closely monitor how long they play. Anyway, back to your question. I limit time by controlling the remotes. When play time is over, I take the remotes and put them in my desk drawer. It has a lock, but the kids know the desk drawer is off-limits, so I haven't had to do that yet, but I would.
  18. decided to start renting first so this weeks picks were Trauma Center-New Blood (I like it, even though I keep letting my patients die) Mario & Sonic at the Olympics--will probably buy Cruisin'--fun to rent but prob won't buy
  19. Oh forgot Carnival games. It is fun, but the kids like things that are faster paced. DS bought Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam with his Christmas money and they are loving it, too.
  20. DS8, DD8, DD9 and DS22 Boogie---a definite hit. Lots of singing and dancing Karoake style! Wii Play--just bought it for the extra remote and haven't really played it much at all. Hannah Montana World Spotlight--a 10+ according to DD9 LOL Super Mario Party 8--I would say 5--nobody ever really wants to play but when they do they seem to enjoy it.
  21. You might want to check your local Walmart. I noticed ours here in Nixa Mo had some marked way down that had KC Chiefs on them, so you might find some with a football team logo on them that is around your area. (Sorry not a huge football fan so wouldn't know off the top of my head who that might be.)
  22. I got this email too, but am wondering when the follow-up is going to come with the information in it.
  23. Swapped diaper coupons to get 10 of these. Bought 10 boxes at Walmat ($2.88 each) so only $8 for 10 boxes by the time you add in tax. I was so happy. I have picky dishwasher that thinks it can only clean with these Powerball ones! Enough for several months of dirty dishes.
  24. I absolutely have to have one of these, but will have to keep it put away, since the "ex" in question is the kids' father. LOL I will, however, take it out and use it when they are away. :gdevillaugh:
