In the past you could purchase the items in the leaked ad early and then just go get a price adjustment done on Black Friday. They have now put it in writing they will not be doing that nor will they match Walmart or anyone else between Nov 27-Dec 1. https://corporate.target.com/about/shopping-experience/holiday-price-match#q5699

I was wondering the same thing. According to their Holiday Price Match policy, they are only excluding sales from Nov 27-Dec 1 so they should match it.

It looks like Target isn't going to price match or do price adjustments over Black Friday. I went into my Target this morning and there was a large sign posted about their Holiday Price Match and Price Adjusting. I hadn't seen a sign like that before so I went over and decided to read the fine. It said that "Price Matches for prices offered November 27-December 1 by Target, Target.com or a competitor are excluded." Under the question "What is excluded from the Holiday Price Match?", it said one of the exclusions is "Black Friday ads (including adjusting prices for previously purchased items)".

Does anyone know if Target will price match to Walmart's Pre-Black Friday sale this weekend or do they consider that a Black Friday ad and won't price match it? I'm wondering because, if you price match the Disney Infinity or Skylander starter sets and then use the $5 off Target coupons and 5% from the RedCard, it makes them around $30 which is better than any other deal I've seen.

Also got my catalog. It had a coupon for $5 off $50 toys and/or sporting goods purchase. I'm hoping to use it with the Lego coupons and pick up the kids advent calendars.

I too was able to find Brave but only because I guessed right on which one it was on the shelf. I didn't see any Madagascar 3 combo packs. My Walmart was a mad house and it seemed hard to find everything. I ended up wandering around and was able to find pretty much everything I was looking for laying somewhere.

I've done this in the past too but I am wondering if it is going to work this year with their new Holiday Price Matching Policy. Right in that it says that "Price matches for prices offered Nov. 22–24 by Target, Target.com or a competitor are excluded." After seeing the ad, I now need to find out if I need to return something to buy it again on BF or if they will adjust the price for me.

I went yesterday and they were very happy to price match the Lego set with the target.com price. It saved me at least $10 and I was able to use the Lego coupon. I did notice signs around the store advertising the holiday price matching and I was told they could only do it at the customer service desk.

My mom works for Walmart and she also said they were just told the sales are at 8pm. 10pm, and 5am.
