I placed an order on Monday and it still hasn't shipped. I placed an order on Wednesday last week and all 4 items shipped within 48 hours. Not sure what the hold-up is with this order, it's just 1 item.

Placed my order! Crossing my fingers everything goes through and I don't get a modification email! Love this early on-line business

I am Central Time so that would be 7 & 9 pm. Call me old fashioned but I will not be anywhere before midnight. Thanksgiving is not getting the respect it deserves. I can tolerate Christmas decorations in September but not fighting for $2 DVD's on a day of thankfulness.
Agreed!

I am a die hard for sure. My sisters and I have been at it for the last several years. We plan for weeks for this one day, lol! Having a good attitude is so important. I try REALLY hard to not let the #4's get to me!

Yes, if you can scan (or take a really clear photo), send me a PM and I'll let you know where to send it.
Sorry, I just saw this, but it looks like you got it, thanks!!!!

Holiday preview in stores now. 2 coupons in it $10 off 30, 20% off and something else that I can't remember. Possibly a free product with $15 purchase?
I just got that in the mail yesterday, I was so excited, lol! My first BF coupon

I tell them they can ask for anything they want, but I encourage them not to expect to get everything. I think it's good to learn early that you can't have everything you want.

I like the 7am time, it could be my last stop! The question will be can I make it from 12am to 7am, lol!!

I use my mypoints for B&B giftcards for BF too, lol!!!!!OHHH me too. I always come home with one (or one year 3) of these. I cash out my mypoints for bath and bodyworks gift cards and save them for this very reason!

At least 10 years. My oldest is 9 and I know I shopped BF when I was PG with her. I haven't missed a year in the last decade, one my my favorite days of the year
-
Totally ready now

My 9 year old wants a kindle fire, but I'm waiting another year at least. Her 7 year old brother will want one as well, so I plan to wait a year or so more an then get them both the fires for christmas!

Last year Monster High dolls were hard to find, not thinking that will be the case this year!
-
Yay!! The whole family loves the 25 days of Christmas!

I'm trying to hold out until Thanksgiving, but I've been tempted, lol!!!

My DD went with me last year for BF she was 18, her first time out. I think she had a good time and she has said something about it this year
. Now I've taken them later in the day when they were younger like on my 2nd trip around 2 in the afternoon but not the all night thing.
I've done the round 2 with kids, later in the day! That works well for now.

If you have a Justice store, they usually carry them. You can call ahead and they will hold them for you. I think most of the girls who shop there are a little older and the mh dolls get overlooked! Good luck!

My daughter is 9 and has been begging me to go, she can't wait. I'm holding out for another year or 2, I'm excited to take her along, but I don't know if she has the stamina quite yetDH has never gone. When the kids were younger he kept them home. But most are grown and love to go and my DD9 went last and loved it. She was really fun to have along. (with our large family spread out through different stores I am able to shop for her too). My co workers have no desire to go and they tease me about memorizing the ads but they give me money so I can pick up stuff for them (if possible) My MIL always ask if there is anything on the kids list that I can pick up for her too.

The exact same thing happened to us! Drinking coffee at McDonalds at 4:30 a.m. after 3 stores and on our way to 4 more and completely wiped out due to no sleep at all. Went home to bed about 7:30 and felt much worse than past years when we'd sleep from 11 p.m.-2 a.m. and stay out until 10 or 11 a.m.
Plus, crowds seemed bigger and crabbier than years past. People just didn't go to bed after Thanksgiving.
What we also observed was that we were able to get almost everything we wanted even hours after the stores had opened (plus the crowds had really cleared out). So despite temptation, we'll start about 3 a.m. too regardless of the opening time.
I agree completely!

I am the same way!!! I always buy at least 1 of the Big One plush throws. Last year I bought 3!! They are the best blankets ever!!! Huge, super soft and for 7.00 or 8.00, can you really have too many?? The kids love them! I found cute sock monkey and cupcake designs last year for the kids.Blankets. I fall for them every year at Kohl's.
Even when my blanket chest is overflowing, I still have to get one, "in case"...

I'm a sucker for that too, lol!!That darn Bath and Body tote filled with stuff. Every year I think "no, not this year!" And every year I cave and get it. I can't help myself. Oh and it's my reward for shopping on that day. I keep everything in it.lol

This is the first year that I don't have any big ticket or must have items on my list. I must say, I am so much more relaxed going into BF this year
Are you as excited this year? With more stores opening on "Black Thursday"

We went out at 9pm Thanksgiving night last year and it was just not the same We didn't have nearly as much fun as the previous 10 plus years we have been shopping BFG.
So we just decided last night to *take back black friday!* We plan to have our Thanksgiving as usual and then grab a few hours of sleep. We plan to set our alarms for 3am and be at our first store by 4am. Will we miss a few possible doorbusters? Maybe, but northing we can't live without. It helps that I can do my Kohls shopping on-line Wednesday!
So now that we have that settled, I am once again excited for Black Friday
