[Best Buy Sunday Ad Correction (9/23-9/29)]

Best Buy messes up their ads a lot & does not honor their errors. I wonder how they get away with it? The email was a new twist.

As long as they post a correction they are not legally bound to honor any mistakes. This is set up A: so printing companies can't screw over businesses and B: because people just make mistakes.

 

It happens with every company. Circuit City will usually have at least 3-4 "ad corrections" posted around their store every week. I've seen them at Sears, Target, Walmart, etc.

[Projectors on BF?]

Business projectors are more likely than home theatre projectors. If you look at what BB offers for HT projectors, there's really not much there. You can use a business projector for home theatre, but it's not going to look as good...just depends on how picky you are.

 

Stock on projectors is normally pretty limited...if you've got a small BB, you'll be lucky if they have 3. If it's a giant BB (in Mineapolis, Dallas, Chicago, NYC, etc) they may have more on hand...but don't bank on it.

As posted above, it is not only unethical but is illegal. If I saw someone doing it, I'd honestly punch them right in the mouth. It'd be worth it.

If you can get a $20 GC out of this, it's because the manager you are dealing with is bad at his/her job. If the game is delayed by the publisher, CC is NOT required to give you the Gift Card (read the fine print in the ad). So this is probably a YMMV (your milage may vary) deal.
