Really like the look of the laptop! hoping it doesn't give me much trouble. Cheers!

Marc, I also used the 20% off coupon for the dv2500t which brought the price down from $1055.98 to $844.78 (pretax). I bought the notebook on HP's official website. Having got a big discount like that on a decent piece of machinery I was elated! This was about a week back. Today I was just trawling through the net and accidentally happened to see the 30% off coupon! Needless to say I felt GUTTED!!! Until I read your post in here about some 'price protection'. Please, please tell me all about this, cos I have NO idea what it is. This was my first real purchase in the US and don't really know how to avail 'price protection'. Thanks in advance. Cheers!
