["Points for Charity" Charity Selection Poll]

So many wonderful charities to choose from!

 

I'm an advocate for children with disabilities and fortunately have been involved and /or know of many wonderful organizations that help children with disabilities and their families.

 

Lissa7341 mentions Spina Bifida which does wonderful work, and SuperMommy mentions the Ronald McDonald house which is also another wonderful charity. And as a resident of Louisiana, the needs of our state since the hurricanes are profound.

 

All in all with all the wonderful organizations that help others, IMO the most important thing is that we give to others. My hat is off to anyone who gives (time and/or money) to others in need

From what I understand for both Baton Rouge and Lafayette, things have been busy for both places.

 

Baton Rouge has the Mall of Louisiana along with several other malls, and lots of shopping centers. Lafayette has the Mall of Acadiana and many shopping centers. Baton Rouge does have more options that Lafayette though.
