  1. I got a Cuisinart coffeemaker for Christmas. I absolutely hate it. Everything about it defies logic. I want to upgrade it to the next model. It is $50 more. I don't have a receipt. Are they OK about exchanging items like this? (Used and w/out a receipt.)
  2. *********UPDATE**********

After 12 VERY STRESSFUL days, CC FINALLY came through and compenstated me! They end up giving me MUCH better computers for the same price, they also gave me credit for the MIR that had expired during this time.

I went through complete HELL during these last 12 days with CC and too stressed out to get into too many details. The operational manager (Carla) for that store reviewed the video tapes and said they didn't have enough footage....or something to that matter. But what I believe is that after my husband talked to someone in the CEO office (who called the store), that's what prompt her to respond to my NUMEROUS phone calls. I had just called her earlier today numerous times and she wouldn't come to the phone not one time but she would only relay messages through one of the customer service personnel. Then about 45 minutes after my husband got off the phone with someone in the CEO office, Carla called me to let me know that i could come pick up my laptops.................and yada yada yada.

Just know that I will NEVER deal with CC again. Their customer service is the WORSE of all kind! Unfortunately, it's impossible for me to get the PC's set up without my children knowing since their Christmas break begins in a couple of days. I wanted to have it all set up while they were in school. I will continue to express my frustration about this company. My next step was to contact our local news station 'Problem Solver' team.

What a nightmare. I hate CC. I agree that they have the WORST customer service ever. Looks like things got handled, which is a miracle with these people. The best I ever get is..."sorry, there is nothing we can do".

  3. I live in the ghetto in jacksonville florida (mandarin area) , but I have never received any information about secret sales. Is there a special sign up for ghettoees (is that the correct terminology)? I know about those pearl sets of which you refer as I bought one for one of my dirty nasty neighbors daughter for her fifteenth birthday (I chose the pink pearl and she loved it) BUT, I paid $29.00 for the set. I realize that I cannot go back in time, but I sure would like to join the Kmart Ghetto club if you can provide me with any info. You can post here, or just send a private message. I think a public post would be better because I doubt if I am the only clueless one. Thanks.

    OMG...

    That.

    was.

    classic.

  4. I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get coupons for Enfamil Nutramigen formula. My baby uses it and it's very expensive. I use powdered and it's 27.00. Appreciate any help

My son was on that for a week and I thought that I was going to go broke. We asked our Pediatrician for some samples, and they were great at giving us a few every time. I posted on another thread here that I get samples from our Ped. most times we go. All you have to do is ask. That said, the Enfamil mailing list is a great way to go. I got HUGE coupons in the mail in the beginning. Then they began to taper off. I had my mom sign up too...at her house.

  5. I LOVE the on-line coupons! I saved SO much money!!:g_dance:

I agree! Today was my first big trip to Target with a slew of coupons. 90% of them were online coupons. My subtotal was $161.00 and I got out of there for $87.48 after coupons. I know that a few of them didn't register when he scanned them. I didn't realize until too late that I needed to watch him like a hawk. I feel a little bad saying this, but our cashier was a little "slow". He was VERY smart, but lacked social skills. He didn't care, though, if a coupon was declined by the machine...he'd enter it manually. He took my word for the Super Target sale on Lunchables and manually marked them down. I don't know that I would have saved as much if someone more careful had been my cashier.

Needless to say, I will keep an eye out for him next time, too!
