    Last year the Target I go to went 30% - 75% on toys, so I thought I would check it out today, no such luck. The markdown team was working toys but only marking them 50%off. I did find 2 Dora tricycles at 75% off I got them for $10.74 each. Since I had time I went through the store and found some other good buys:

    Relish tray set -$4.98

    3 tier dish - $4.98

    Beverage Dispense shaped like a globe - $4.98

    Little girl shoes black dress -$1.98

    jewelry box - $2.49

    Overall I had a good day, lots of Xmas gifts for next year. I am thinking that toys will be at 75% next week as they had 4 aisles full of toys and endcaps overflowing.

    I have been watching a big jewelry armoire, some of them had gone 50% (maybe 75% on the smaller ones) some still listed as reg. price. I go in this week for my weekly check and all of the armoires are gone, every single one of them,even the displays, at both targets I check in Ma.? I asked an employee, who wasnt too helpful with her response of "they must have sold." Where did they go, anyone have any ideas? I couldnt imagine salvage but cant come up with any other thoughts. Do they store them in the back for next year? I was also told Target only sells jewelry boxes/armoires at Christmas time. By the way,I have to say I LOVE this thread! I cant even count the number of great bargains I have had thanks to everyones helpful tips!

    I'm in Wisconsin and I was watching the jewelry armoires also. Same thing happened to me, there one day and gone the next, no explanations.:eyepoppin

    I use to own a daycare and when we ran out of roll paper for tables we bought freezer paper, it works great for drawing and for finger painting. I will have to check Hobby Lobby and see how their rolls work.:smart:

    My girls really like them, I bought them last week and it has been a big hit at my home since they really enjoy drawing and coloring (think they are going to be artist), I have about 7 different drawings on my fridge. The table and stool are very cute together. The only thing I am worried about is once the roll of drawing paper that comes with it runs out if it is going to be easy to find replacements?.

    I went before work today and scored the Parents large vinyl blocks reg. $130 got them for $32. I really wanted to get some Cabbage patch dolls but none left, I saw a lady with 6 of them in her cart. There were 2 employees I encountered today that were just awful to a customer. This customer had a baby and a 2 year old with her. Well her cart was full and she had asked on of them if they could get her another cart or take the full one up to the front. They said no, that during toy clearance they can't hold anything. Well, she didn't ask them to hold anything just help her. After she walked away frustrated I heard them talking about customers and how they do not have to help people find things during toy clearance. Then, the 2 year old was by the balls and one of them yelled at him that he can not play with toys in the store. The young mom was so embarrassed. I was so angry that I found a manager and complained about the treatment. I told them that in the past I did secret shops for Target and those 2 employees would have failed horribly. The manager stated there wasn't much she could do unless I had their names, which I did. I hope they got in trouble!:D

    South side Target - 75% Off Christmas - No additional clearance done on toys yet

    North Side - 50% Off Christmas still - No additional clearance done on toys yet

     

    The My Little Pony sets were still scanning full price.

     

    I searched HIGH & LOW for the Playdough sets - NONE found

     

    Walked out of both Targets without buying a thing. :(

    Wisconsin Targets are 75% off, I took the My Little Pony sets to the front and stated that they were in the Christmas stuff marked 75% and they gave them to me for $1.75

    Do you spend the same amount on step children?

    I think step children should receive the same as all of the children. My husband and I open our home to Foster children and if we have any at Christmas time they get the same amount as our children. We always make sure everyone has enough. Thanks goodness for Gotta deal because I can stock up all year round with the good deals. I never know when I will have an extra child. This last year I had 10 children in my home, 3 were mine and 7 were foster children.
