  1. Scottsdale Pavillons had 50% off all large patio furniture items, I sat in one, for about 10 minutes in the chair I want, but decided to risk it and wait for 75%...AHHHHH.... Oh and a few "down free" comforters 75%, just a few in twin and 1 king left. Other comforter sets were 30 - 50% Alison Scottsdale AZ
  2. Today I went to the Scottsdale Pavillions at Indian Bend and the 101. No Patio furniture on clearance, a few odds and ends at 50%, like some small garden sculptures and fake cactus in pots. 3 racks of 75% womens clothes, mostly long sleeved shirts, which hardly ever sell here in the sunny southwest. A few kids shoes at 50%. Pretty much all bulk items GONE Alison Scottsdale, AZ
  3. At Frank Lloyd Wright and the 101 in Scottsdale, Arizona, no Patio furn. on clearance, just a few odds and ends were 30% Alison Scottsdale
  4. Went to Frank Lloyd Wright and 101 in SCOTTSDALE THIS MORNING> Not much in cleaning supplies, except bulk chemicals, ie: clorox toilet bowl cleaner and scrubbing bubbles in a can, but still just 30% Found 1 mm, Fruit punch, YEAH Bought 2 but left about 8 Star Wars Leapster, they were 19.9X. Thank you to the poster who said other games would also work on this handset, otherwise I would have never bought it, 1 for my own dd, 12, and one for the gift closet. There were about 3 racks of womens clothes 75%, Daughter, 16, found a top and bottom that matched, in swim suits (that were 75%), in a size S, lots of choices of swim suits but not many matching tops and bottoms in the same size, THERE were some really cuter pajama sets only 30%, darn, I could really use some new summer pj's. Still in the end spent 160.XX...OUCH, just on a whim, to go to Target..I need to stay out of that store...Yeah right ;-) Alison Scottsdale, AZ
  5. Found 2 MM packs, apple, at Frank Lloyd Wright and the 101 store in Scottsdale, hadn't found any for over a year. Plus I found lots of girls sweat shirts, zip up, 75%, and a few for ladies in the exercise dept This was on Tuesday Going to go back up now, need some gallon size ziploc bags, and I might as well get them at Target then just stop at the grocery which is only 1/2 as far! Alison Scottsdale, AZ
  6. Welcome to my first thread My favorite checker in the garden center, today, at Home Depot, told me that on this Sunday, they will have a one day only B1G1 plant sale. Not certain of course if this is nationwide, but at least you can give it a try. This was the Home Depot at the Pavillions, 101 and Indian Bend in Scottsdale, AZ Good Luck and Happy Gardening Alison Scpttsdale, AZ
  7. Went to Scottsdale Pavillions yesterday, not much left in toys, but they did have 4 of the Biscuit (SP?) dog high on a shelf, couldn't read the tag, or reach to scan. My 2 hidden DVD players were GONE, and none to be found. Bummer also almost nothing in Housewares on clearance, but a few video rockers Went to Frank Lloyd Wright today, lots more toys, nothing I am dying for, also no plasma cars, no DVD's, but tons of girls clothes 75%, bought 3 dresses size 10 for my own dd, for next X-mas, so it was worth the trip. I quess I would really love 2 DVD's and 2 plazma cars should anyone in the Phoenix metro area see any, but I will stalk them until they go 75% (these aren't for my kids, but I 'm the "Aunt with the good presents!") Alison Scottsdale, AZ
  8. Does Michael's go 90% off? or am I imagining it??? I just can not remember... I was there yesterday, and you would think by how much is left, that no one ever bought anything before Christmas. The prices though were all over the map. Food items 50%, hand made floral (wreaths etc) 60%, asst "stuff" 70% (like craft stuff) and ornaments 80% off. So I can wait...Especially since I have already totally loaded up from Target and Home Depot's 75%...But I really do like some of the craft kits at Michaels and the hand made wreaths at Michaels. TIA, Alison Scottsdale, AZ
  9. 90% off at Scottsdale Pavillions. Bought nealy $60 worth, didn't have time to look for missing lost things or to look anywhere but seasonal, the DH thought I was at the grocery store buying things to make breakfast!!! Hopefully he will take a nap after breakfast, and I CAN HEAD OUT TO ANOTHER TARGET! Alison Scottsdale, AZ
  10. Hi I just went in hunt of Halloween "junque": I just returned from Scottsdale Pavillions at the 101 and Indian Bend in Scottsdale, AZ, where there is 1/2 of 1 isle left...a little candy, some costumes and some misc weird stuff. Halloween is still 75%. I tried to scan too, but I went to 3 scanners, all "out of service" so I heard the familiar "beep" and asked it to be scanned by the guy with the gun...It came up regular price. ARGH. There were all these women in the Halloween isle totally loading up their carts, so I was afraid, I am missing it... So I picked up a pack of Jones' Soda (the pomeganite one is GOOD!) and went to the checkout lanes. 37 cents...so it is still truly 75% So I put my soda in the truck, and head back into the store. I found the Arizona State University "junque" all 75% where it had been 50% on Tuesday, the last time I looked and did buy a few things (now I need to return a few things with the the old receipt!) There is a lot left...clocks, trash cans, ping pong balls, car flags, and big hanging banners. Also saw a rack of mens clothes 75%, bought a grey pinstripe suit jacket in my husbands size. for 14.xx. I did get the matching pants a few weeks ago when they had one 75%. SO there, another suit for about $25 ..woo hoo... May be tomorrow I will head out again, to buy all the rest of that pomegranite soda...at 90%...but Saturdays are so hard...the DH wil want to know where I am going...and Target is not the answer he will want to hear. But if I dont go, I still did really well at 75%, i was able to get a large $69 gargoyle and a really large and HEAVY tombstone, reg. $79, both from the garden dept, this was earlier in the week of course... Alison Scottsdale, AZ
  11. I just returned from the Scottsdale Pavillions School Supplies and Backpacks and Lunchboxes still: 50% Halloweeen is going up, looks like the slow economy is not going to affect the size of the Halloween dept. It's Huge. Some "backpack" beach chairs in the garden dept: 75% 6-8 Shark tents left at 75% in sporting goods, not on an endcap Lots of mens "polo" type shirts, mostly striped: 75% I didn't need any of it though, so I was good and left it there Alison Scottsdale, AZ
  12. Went to Scottsdale Pavilions (arizona) this morning, Electronics endcaps were like wiped clean from what they had on Saturday...All the phones, dvd players, GONE, I guess they went salvage??? There was though a new endcap full of video games, mostly at 30% a few at 50%. I'm kicking myself now for not getting one of those phones with 5 separate handsets. in the isle that is separate from regular home stuff (sheets) the ones with the specialty sort of kids bedroom stuff there is still rug in a box. THEY ARE ON THE REGULAR ISLE, they are all tagged 24.XX. There are 2 princess, 3 winnie the Pooh and 2 Cars. Still too pricey for my blood, even though I am sure they wil never drop lower, I will just live with out them. There is lots at 30 and 50% off in kids clothes, found (and bought) one size 12 easter dress that was not red tagged for $5.XX . ALso in Electronics on the regular isle there were some Virgin Cell phone accessories 50%, but I don't need any. Though we all do Virgin pay as you go here. They still do the popcorn drink combo, had one today for $1.08 a few handbags were 75%, bought a small backpack style that was brown with pink hearts on it for $4.XX . A few pastel colored satin or leather clutch styles still there, They were like $3.74. There is a little bit of jewelry in the case still at 50% I've been watching. Been at 50% for at least 2 weeks. Also been watching some kelly green tote bags with dark blue webbing. They have been 50% at 6.74 for at least a month. Wanted them for end of the year Girl Scout gifts, but too much $ still. Also there were some Phoenix Suns sweatshirts in mens that were 75%, and Phx Suns long sleeved tees were at 50%. There were quite a few. of both, but no smaller sizes. There were some Dyson vacuums that were regular 399 now 349, red tagged. I turned on my margarator from a few months back (finally)...it worked for about 1/2 a second then stopped, and wont go back on. Any thoughts? I have yet to contact the manufacturer and I 'm sure it was well over 3 months ago those went 75%. Thank goodness it was only 24.XX, and not MORE. Bummer though, I'm having a party on Friday, and there will be a lot of margaritas consumed! Alison Scottsdale, AZ
  13. Thank you to whomever posted about the 3 packs of poster board...My dd had just said as we were perusing this morning, "oh, mom, I need posterboard' so I say, "oh yeah, I read a post...lets go look". She pulls out one sheet, and i say wait, lets look for some 3 packs, well I dig to the bottom, and there are about 20 3 packs, redstickered 1.69, and we scan, comes up 0.00, I take 8 packs up to customer service , ask, and she sais to tell the cashier 48 cents. So, woo hoo!!! We are stocked up for a while for all those darned book reports. Yesterday, bought a ton of gift wrap, and invites and Thank you notes. I offered to the checker to divide up the orders so I could use 3 off 15 coupons, and use 3 of them, and she said, oh, it's ok, just put it all together and you can still use all 3 coupons...I also bought 2 of the 18" bikes at $15 and used the $5 off toys, and then used the $10 off 100 that came on the catalogue, and the computer took all of them., all of them at once. So much fun and today $1 spot is still full price, and there is no scrapbooking stuff on clearance, and the area is all fresh and reset. yesterday it was empty. but the popcorn deal here is still $1.08, yeah. Alison Scottsdale, AZ This was at the Scottsdale Pavillions, Scottsdale, AZ
  14. Today I stopped in the Target on 44th St and Thomas in Phoenix, (not my regular target) was looking for the margarator...Found 2, on an end cap, not a clearance endcap, neither were red tagged at all. Scanned 24.xx. I bought one, left one. (yesterday my reg target only had the display tagged at 49.xx) They also had A LOT of pretty frames in all sorts of sizes , filling 2 endcaps all 75%, I bought 6, 5 x 7's @ 3.24 ea. And a few red dotted dollar board books for Easter baskets. Not much left at all, but lots of Bath salts. I notices girls valentine clothes still in the regular dept, and signed at 50% and tons left I did not peruse the whole store as I was in a rush, as it was I beat the school bus home by about 30 seconds! (whew, that was a close one). If I am not here, they will take dd back to school which is 8 miles away, and in later afternoon traffic, about 30 - 45 min each way Alison Scottsdale, AZ
  15. I bought way too much at Pavillions Target in Scottsdale, AZ Lot's of nice picture frames 75% (I bought 2 8x10, 1 5x7 and 1 4x6) Most of the dorm stuff was 75% but the sign says 30% I bought a full queen down blend navy comforter for 9.98ish reg 39.99, also some pillow cases single packs were .98 in the same navy color (lots left!, in both coforters and pillow cases, not much left in towels) Bought some flannel Pj's that were 50% had tons left, they were not signed as clearance they were on an end on a wall in lingerie. There were some blue green ones with a lace trim on the pocket and another that were orange and peach and brown stripes. They were marked 9.98 reg 19.99, I bought 1 for me 1 for sister for B-day Also lots of other comforters and sheets marked 75%, but the signs were 50% and 30% Saw the shrek head in toys for 75% amd still had a few slip n slides for like 2.?? and a couple of the spiderman monopoly was 75%, not much else in toys or sporting goods, the endcaps were very bare. People and kids were buying Halloween costumes...and decor...Doesn't seem like as much as even last year, but nothing I'm dying to have, except for the huge life size tombstones out in the garden dept! But way too much $ Speaking of garden, all the statuary is selling at 50%, I'll not holding out much hope for a grecian goddess or huge lion to adorn my backyard, LOL Also saw the TV stands, one was wood and rustic another was glass and silver, both were like 48.xx reg 199.99, there were 2 glass ones and 3 wood ones. Back to school was GONE, even all the backpacks that they still had a ton left! Alison Scottsdale, AZ
