  1. WM drives me crazy, too. My big complaint with them is that they price their items depending on who their competition is in the area. This is good if you live in a city with Target, TRU, Best Buy, etc., but I pretty much have WM and Kmart. Kmart's deals pretty much suck, so that does me no good.

My WM is EXPENSIVE. When I'm in the nearest "big" city (75 miles away), there are 3 WMs. 2 super, 1 regular. ALL are a lot cheaper than my local store. I bought a DVD awhile back and it was $21.97 here... a couple of days later, I went to 1 of the other WMs... it was $14.97! That's a big difference!

Most things are $1-$3 more here than they are at the other WMs, where they are actually competing with other stores. I guess here they basically have a monopoly, so they don't have to worry about keeping their prices low.

This year, I have shopped almost exclusively with Amazon... however, I am not opposed to clearing out WM's clearance items when its time! :)

Same way here, they built a wal-mart ~20 months ago, the area is poor, prices are high and the store is trashed. I will drive twice as far to a clean Target ANY day over that wal-mart :) not to mention, what is with an old dude (~70 yrs old) in a suit with a Wal-mart name tag following me (late 20s female by myself) in that store.... haven't spent a penny in it in 8 months.

  2. I was buying Tide last week that was 10.99. I gave her two coupons - one Target, one manufacturer's. She said "did you have two?"

"No, you can combine a Target and manufacturer's coupon."

She gave me a skeptical look and scanned them both. It went through. Sometimes you have to be pushy but polite.

All the Target stores I have been to now have our low price promise signs near the registers that say they accept all manufacturer coupons with a fine print that they accept one Target coupon and one manufacturer's coupon per item. HTH :)

  3. Sears.com is supposed to be crediting my account for purchases from Friday night, because 1 item was out of stock. My 2 Kmart orders "expired" according to my debit card account, but I have the items here... so I don't know what they're doing. 1 Kmart order was the Saturday after Black Friday, the other one was last week. The only email I have from the Kmart orders is one shipping confirmation (sent after the package arrived)
  4. Finally received my order confirmation from Kmart today as well as an answer to my email (sent to Kmart) from SEARS! But my confirmation email has the delivery date as yesterday... hard to deliver something that has not been shipped. :(
  5. toninjack, they can't be serious? Dec. 21st! Everything I bought from Walmart.com & Lowes.com between Thursday & Saturday will be here by Saturday. Sears & Kmart wonder why they have problems..... not hard to figure out is it.
  6. I went to Kmart saturday morning to get some of there Sat. morning specials, they only had 2 of 1 item that I needed 3 of. Came home, found it on Kmart.com, bought something else to get the free shipping. I have yet to receive an order confirmation, my credit card was charged on Tuesday, the order still says Processing. I emailed Kmart yesterday with no response. I bought stuff from lowes.com, walmart.com (4 times) and target.com, all sent order confirmations and shipped within 2 business days. Anyone else had this experience with Kmart.com?
