Just a quick note on hiding things. I totally get it, and I know it helps you get even better deals. But don't forget you are really messing up the people that do inventory in those stores. If they can't find the stuff it will get counted against them ... and theft (shrink for the retail crowd) is what makes prices go up and up.

I work in retail, and more that likely that store is just experiencing some theft that they need to take some actions on. You never know what could be going on with external or employee theft. I'm sure most Targets would let you do it.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that. I was suprised too, there was a ton of wicker left when I went. And a lot of the smaller asian looking black chairs.

I ran out to Target on my lunch break and managed to get one of the GB chairs that I wanted!! The black highback orig 159.99 for 39.99!! Picked up a couple of other GB things too ... it's really picked over, but I was shocked that they still had furniture left like the asian dresser, and the large dark brown bookcase still in boxes! VDay was pretty much gone at 90% off. I'm going to try to hit some more after work

I got the 3 different ones they had at 75% off ( I paid .99 ) for my niece for her birthday last weekend, she loved them!

I really thought about calling customer service or something. She even had the nerve to say that she wondered if someone had just "made those up on their computer" while giving me a funny look. The strangest thing to me was that I used the chips coupon and it worked, but the ones for the choxie bars wouldn't work. I get really mixed results around here as far as customer service is concerned ... and store policy. When the furniture was going on clearance earlier this month I asked about buying a display sample of a dresser and was told that they do not sell them. I totally understood ... until 10 minutes later a different associate was trying to sell me a display sample of a dining table, he even said he would negotiate the price to get rid of it. Target has to be one of the strangest places I've ever shopped. But I still love it.

The Irondequoit NY store was 50% off Friday night. It was nice to get first pick of the 50% off stuff. There is like nothing left now All the stores around here are really cleaned out of GB stuff, the 75% is going to be slim pickings. I tried the coupons for the first time yesterday. The woman at the register told me that if they didn't read on the regular scanner she could not take them, she said they weren't allowed to even try to scan them with the scan gun. Kind of sounded like a bunch of crap to me, but I wasn't in an arguing mood.

Good point ... I'm always finding things in the store that are priced lower than the sticker says. Last week I got a whole set of matching rugs that were different sizes for my eat in kitchen, and they were all only marked at 30%, but came up 50%.

The only time I've ever gotten the wrong info on the phone I had called about a full price book case that I really wanted. The person that 'looked' for me told me that they didn't have any in stock, and none of the other stores did either. I happened to stop in to one of the other stores later to get some other things and they had the book case in stock. I have always gotten correct pricing info though.

I'm totally addicted to this too ... though I was addicted to Target before this, so it's not much different. I think it really depends on the store what day it gets marked down. One of the stores in my area went to 50% off GB on Friday, then a couple more on Saturday, and the rest on Sunday. I've started to get a bit of a feel for what stores do markdowns first in my area. Don't forget, you can also call the store in the morning and just ask what % off GB is if you want. :)

I checked out most of my local Targets yesterday. The Global Bazaar was all still 50% off, but there is hardly anything left. Lucky for me they still had most of the things I wanted between the ones I went to, so I picked them up instead of waiting for 75% off. It's starting to look like there will be nothing left by that point. Does anyone have any idea when it's going to 75% off? There are still a couple of furniture pieces that I am holding out for. All of them still seemed to have a decent size section of 75% off Valentine's left, though there was pretty much no chocolate left at any of them.

I was there this weekend and got a set of 300 TC sheets orig. 39.99 marked 27.99 for an additional 50% off. There were a lot of additional 50% off sections in my store.

I was really excited to get to Target and see Global Bazaar at 50% off when I read that post ... but no luck They are all still at 30% here. I did get some really nice bathroom rugs for 50% off though. I can't wait for the 50% off GB, I got a few things I really wanted at 30%, but there are still quite a few things I wanted but didn't want to pay as much for.

I went in to Target today hoping that Global Bazaar had gone 50% off, no such luck Dollar Spot was 75% off though, and the one that I went to had a ton of stuff left, there was VDay, Superbowl, Dolls and family guy. I also managed to pick up a set of rugs at 50% off that were only marked 30% off It looked like they were doing a lot more mark downs in the home section. I noticed this time that Global Bazaar had signs up that said the 30% clearance prices were in effect through the 17th. So I guess it might not be 50% off until Sunday.

I had a great night at Target last night! The entire Waverly bed set that I wanted was just marked down 50% and they still had everything I wanted (Comfortor with shams, bed skirt, matching pillow). I also got 50% off a set of Thomas O'Brien sheets and a blanket. New bed set for the new house I also broke down and got some Global Bazaar stuff that I really wanted. It's still only 30% off, but I notice around here it's selling a lot faster this year. You would have thought it was 50-75% off with the way people were buying it.

Thanks Gator Pam! I'm always in there looking for good deals, so far the past 2 years I've just happened to go in there the day they started the 75% off the GB. I just love all of that stuff. I'm moving into a new place next month and all the furniture and home clearance this month they have had has me replacing a ton of stuff in my house. :)

I'm new to the forum, and Target is my favorite place to shop. Lucky for me there are 5 Targets in my area. I got some great deals this weekend, the Georgetown Armoire for $64 and a mission table for $33, plus I used my truck to help a friend of mine get a different Armoire for $64. I thought it was really strange that all of the Targets had different prices on their clearance until I got on here and read this forum. I was wondering if anyone knows when Global Bazzar is going on clearance?
