  1. I’m to ingrained with Alexa. We have lots of dots. We have some hue lights only the regular ones, smart plugs, and led strip lights from Amazon.  My husband put them above the cabinets, under the cabinets by the floor. Under the top cabinets plug in lights  we have them under the kitchen table, pool table and on the ceiling above pool table. Lamps in three rooms, outside on patio,Nader table on the umbrella, and on privacy plant trellis. Switch to turn on stereo.  We have them in the master bathroom. It’s nic when in bed to tun all the lights off. We have had hue lights, around 2016 or 17. Those are just the regular light bulbs and none have burned out.

  2. We have Amcrest cameras and they have an app to use on phones and tablets. My husband bought on Amazon. He installed them and replaced the older system. After the initial cost that’s it. We have no camera inside. We all around the house and yard covered. We don’t have it with Alexa. Really enjoy Alexa to work with WeMo and Phillip Hue other devices. A favorite is grocery list and timers and controlling lights stereo and television and music.
  3. We have a echo, dot and a tap. We have apple devices. My husband has put in hue lights in kitchen, bedroom, living room. We have WeMo switches for Alexa to turn on stereo which connects to tv in dining area and bedroom. We can use Alexa to play music ,add grocery items, set timers. We have led accent lighting in kitchen, dining area and patio and waterfall in backyard that Alexa controls and under counter lights in kitchen. Our receivers are connected to tv and speakers which we can Bluetooth from phones and Alexa. I can use tap in the car or outside. We have a switch on patio table with usb built in to bring out any device for music. Amazon is your friend for cheap led lighting. Under the cabinets by the floor, he connected the lights to a thin board attached for easy installation.

  4. I need something for 2 year old whose birthday is in November. Her parents are software developers and mentors. She already uses a MacBook Pro. She sets in board meetings for techlahoma and StarSpace46. I need something for home and to take with her. I started this her mother grandmother and me on DVD on a 386 packerd bell.
  5. It depends on what you are looking for. I think it's for single parents, lower income parents who need the extra discount. I loved shopping for my dd25 when she was young. I could find crazy bargains for her Black Friday and all year. I think once you make a little more it's not as important. We are debt free. I learned from my parents Christmas should be what you can afford. I still think the best Christmas were the ones about family not about stuff. It's still the best time to get the special toy at a good price for child.
  6. It's just not the same. I am a child of the 60's. When I was a child it was service merchandise, Sears, Penneys, wards catalogs. We looked thanksgiving ads, and went shopping on Friday with cousins and aunts. Only women went shopping and men watch football games. My dd is grown and due the week of Black Friday. Here is no big present maybe next couple years, will be fun.
  7. If you buy the kups, try an espresso maker. I have the delonghi 3300 seam. It is easy, fill the water with distilled water, add whole beans. Push the 1 or 2 serving adjust water level, coffee or espresso comes out and just steam milk. Add any flavor beats Starbucks for pennies. If it every broke, I would buy another. I paid 499 from Amazon worth every penny. My husband and I use it everyday.
