  1. I think that mothers are givers......If I have extra money I always spend it on my boys. I feel guilty doing things for myself, therefore I feel guilty telling someone what I want...(I do not really need anything)

Isn't that the thing though? Mothers are givers so you and your hubby have mothers that want to give to their kids. Just because you are adults doesn't make them not want to buy you things. How will you feel when your kids are grown...wont you still want to buy for them?

Don't get me wrong, I too find it awkward feeling, but if I try hard enough I can normally think of things I've been pining for. We make a rule that there is no buying allowed during the Christmas season that way we have ideas for family members and it doesn't put them in an awkward place of buying us repeats.

I hope you can find a way to feel better about all of this :)

  2. Dang! I went to the Stanley store yesterday, and decided the dollar spot would be better at the OP supertarget, so that's why I went there, and then nothing ended up being 75% off! Bummer!

I think we probably shop at the same Target (154th in Olathe). I went TWICE today in anticipation of it being 75%. I was so irritated!! I did go to the Super on 119th and it was 75, but VERY picked over. I might go back tomorrow (to 154th) but I'm moving so it's unlikely :(

  3. This is not the first problem I've had with their new website. Before Christmas they had posted the Interactive Barbie Princess Genievieve. It was the one that danced, well they had it posted for 20.xx, the same price as the regular Barbie. I called several times and they could never figure out what the problem was. Nor would they offer to honor the mistake. It seems like they have lots of problems with listing things correctly!
  4. I found my best Target deal yet! This, however is probably just a fluke, but none-the-less I'm still stoked! I was browsing through the toys and saw the Fisher Price Kid Tough digital camera all shelved in a spot where they said 19.99. I knew it had to be wrong, but checked out with it and told the cashier it was marked at 19.99 on the shelf. She called toys for a price check and they said since they were stocked in the wrong place they would sell it to me at that price!!!! I am so excited. There is no way I could have every afforded it at regular price and now i have an awesome gift for me dd.

I saw the FP3 players for 34.98. I couldn't scan anything because the scanners were down.

  5. Went to Target today and had a pretty good time. I got two of the .69 juice packs (yay finally!!)

A shower curtain at 75% for 8.xx, shower rings for .28, and I found a bed tent that the Easter bunny was bringing for dd for 4.98. I had bought it a few weeks back for 9.98, so I rebought it and took it straight back for the original price paid. I also bought a couple of packs of the window winter treament but realized I got charged wrong. They should have been 2.48 but I was charged 3.74. If I take them back to get it adjusted, does Target have any policy about things ringing up wrong or do I just get the adjustment? I've never had this prob with them before.

All in all a pretty good trip!

  6. Please do tell about the bike, who is the maker and what is the color.

Do you have the DPCI for this bike? We scored the men's one for my hubby but now I'm starting to think that I might need one for myself.

Also, does anyone know of a small children's bike on clearance? I need the size up from a 12" I think...my dd is 3 and she is on the smallest two-wheeler, but this summer she will need a bigger one.

We went to Target today and got a Barbie 3 wheeled scooter for 6.24, a backpack for 2.xx and several of the other things already listed!
