Personally I have both XBox and Playstation 2, and don't really see much difference in the graphics or the game selection. Hubby likes the Xbox and I like PS2, and the only real reason being is the way the controllers work and feel and in my hands. I have a hard time holding the Xbox controller and pushing the right buttoms, I find it big and bulky, but hubby loves. I like the PS2 slimmer types better.
I would suggest looking at the prices you can find for the systems, and looking into specific games your children would be intrested in and checking out what platforms they are made for and their price.

But isn't Wlalmart has care Bears for $5??
Sorry if I am confused
Simonalex
I don't think the ones at Walmart are the singing ones though.

It's in their Saturday(after BF) sale. They are doing sales on Thanksgiving, BF, and Saturday. Saw the ad scan on another site.
Ah, ok thanks for clearing that up.
-
Anyone know if the $9.44 in the Kmart Saturday sale ad is a good price?
Where did you see this price advertised? I don't remember it being in the circular.
-
Sounds like a good price. I believe they are usually $20. And i think that's the Care Bear Sears has in their BF add for $9.99.
-
Will all the Sears stores have the card? Because where I will be at there is only a small Sears (one of those appliane and some tools type stores), and I just assumed that they would not be participating.

I don't really remember much about JC Penny's deals last year. I do remember my SIL went for a pair of shoes she saw in the ad for a good price, and she spent an hour in line just to get the shoes to try on, then another 30 mins in line to buy the shoes. She was excited because it was a really good deal, but I just don't think I would wait that long in line for shoes.

We are usually up somewhere between 6:00-6:30, because that's what time dd is programmed to wake up. We start on the stockings while I get the muffins in the oven, then open the presents.

Recipes?!?!

I hope at least one of these will please. I use either leftover chicken or turkey for the casseroles made with poultry. If the recipe calls for boiling the meat first, skip that part and continue on to assembly of the casserole.
Thanks! They sound really tasty and what a great way to use up some of that leftover turkey! I will definetly by trying some of these.

I was wondering the same thing. I tried searching my walmart and the internet, but was unable to figure out exactly what they are.

Camcorders?
in 2005
My parents are looking into getting a camcorder for Christmas and I was trying to help find them the best deal for their money. So far I noticed that Sears will be havin one on the sale the )Sony WorryFreeDigital Digital8® Camcorder, Handycam® with 2-1/2 in. Swivelscreen™ LCD) I think. It sounds like a decent camera, but I don't know, never really shopped around for this type of product before. Anyone know anything about this camera? Or perhaps of another camera deal floating around? Thanks! -
What about Toysrus? I know there will be one close to where I am going, and I like to be able to really see a product before I buy? What do they have in the way of furniture? Will they have the little tikes stuff? Or maybe something with colorful characters?

When you make chicken, do you have leftovers? I have tons of recipes for chicken csasseroles of all sorts.
Why love chicken! :) Chicken cassarole recipes would be great.

Thanks for the advice! I will definetly be looking into the little tykes and step 2 products.

Not sure this is what you are wanting but if you look in the Walmart ad...on BF they are going to have a dora table and chairs set for $10 it looks wooden. I got the metal(?) one last year and it has managed to stand up to my girls ages 5 and 3.
I just went and looked in the Walmart BF ads. It's really hard for me to see it, but I do see a table in the picture. But I don't remember there being a table on the list of items for sale, so I couln't figure out if the table was sale item or not.
-
Hmm....Had not thought about wood vs. plastic. I guess either one, just some comfortable and sturdy. I will have to look into the little tikes and step 2 products. What stores usually care them?
-
I'm trying to find a little table and chair set for my dd for Christmas. I live in the middle of nowhere, so there are no real stores (except Walmart) for me to go to. So I have been looking around the internet, and have seen plenty of cute tables, but it's hard for to judge the quality of the product. I will be in the city for BF and am hoping to find a good bargain. Can anyone tell me what stores would be best to look into? And maybe price ranges? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Does anyone have simple dinner type cassarole dishes? It's so busy during the holidays it would be nice to have some one dish dinners that I could maybe cook ahead of time and heat up. Any ideas? -
It's just not Thanksgiving to me without sausage stuffing. It might not be my favorite, but a definate must, I always remember helping my dad make it when I was little.
