  1. Valentine's is 50% off. I just got back. Picked up large bags of playdoh, multi packs of little pads of paper, pencils, etc. Bakeware was included. The chocolate and strawberry marshmallows however did not ring up 50%. The strawberry ones were marked down from .99 to .84. Anyway, the whole area was a mess. They had a huge team of people working to set the Easter back there, while all of the shoppers were trying to look and most of the Vday stuff was piled up on shelves (very hard to look through and very crowded!).
  2. Everything still high at the one I went to tonight. Did find one thing though, Safety 1st video monitor which is exactly what I needed now after having my second baby. It retails for over $100 and I got it for 49! So that was my one good find.

I saw that monitor yesterday at a new Wal-Mart supercenter for $25! I was shocked at how low the price was but did not really need it. I think $49 is a great price too considering how expensive it was originally!

  3. I was there tonight and they had the 24 packs of Gerber puffs for 3.00. Exp. dates were April. I was hoping to pick up some 3rd fods, but this store did not have any jars of baby food. They did have some carts of clearance up front with Beechnut oatmeal for .25 a box and some of the table time tubs for .25. The items in the carts were all expiring in February. And, if you are a buzz club member, 20% off your entire purchase starts tomorrow. I got the coupon in my email today!
  4. Baby food is very cheap at Big Lots as well. They have a lot of stage 2 food in Gerner and Beechnut for .25 a jar, Beehnut puffs for 1,00, and Gerber Oatmeal with Bananas (the DHA added kind in the canister) for 1.50. They also had some toddler tubs of microwavabale foods, but I did not check those prices. I have been buying the jarred baby food there for a while, just be sure to check the exp. dates as some expire very soon but others have great dates.
  5. Babies R Us was an additional 30% off clearance clothes and shoes when I was in there last night. They also had an additional 30% off clearance diaper bags, an additional 20% off clearance furniture, and an additional 40% off Wendy Bellisimo clearance bedding. I don't think my BRU store has ever gone beyond the additional 30% on clothes- but our TRU does carry clothes and shoes so that may be why.
  6. I just think it's so cool that there are 2 on here who know about this site!!! (I'm not a nut, I promise!!) My son was with me and he was SOOOOOO good. Even being half covered in toys!

There are more of us in the triad on here! Just thought I would say hi! I was at the Kernersville Target when they opened this morning, and there was another gottadealer there too! There are also a few others from Greensboro. Welcome to the crazy world of Target clearnace shopping! It is so addictive!

  7. I got to Target as they opened this morning and the toy markdown was in progress. I made 2 trips between 8 am and 10 am and paid $150 for 3 carts full. This was in Kernersville, NC. I will say- make sure you look up. I noticed at our Target that they have a ton of ride-on toys as well as the tool bench on the very top shelf against the wall, all were 75% off but no one seemed to be noticing! Except for me and another gottadealer! Hi Rogersx4!! So nice to finally meet you!
  8. Went to the Forest Hill Target today, as of 11am still not marked down. I wish they would hurry up and mark down those B&D Pressure Washers!! Grrr....still $79.98 at that store for 2 weeks now!

ETA: I saw tons of employees with scanners tho.

I have been stalking those pressure washers for weeks!!! Glad to see that someone else has had them sitting there at 50% off. My hubby really wants one! Please post if you see them drop lower. I keep thinking it will be any day now....

  9. Just got back from Target in NC and no further markdowns on toys as of 9 am. There were buggies of stuff parked at the end of almost every aisle in the store and lots of people working, but as far as I could tell, the only things being marked down further while I was there were cleaning supplies. There was only one lone man rearranging toys and he did not have the tags or scanner gun with him. I went back and checked at least 3 times before I left the store, but still no action. This happened last year and I returned about 6 pm to find one aisle of toys marked down but the rest were not marked further until 8 when they opened the next morning. Has anyone's store went 75 today???
  10. Clearance toys at my local Target have been consolidated into about 4 aisles and almost all are at 50% off. I always try to guess when 75% off will be and sometimes it works out, but sometimes it doesn't. I usually check this board a lot to see what others are finding and look back at previous years when things went to 75%. I think last year's date was January 10. It is usually a Wednesday morning, since that is when toys are typically marked down but my store was behind last year and ours did not go until Thursday morning which I think was the 11th. I am going this Wednesday just in case, but who knows??? It seems early to me, but I don't want to miss out either.
  11. What size Tide was that? Also which type of Tide (w/bleach alternative, w/Febreeze, Tide Free). I'll have to check my Walmart. Someone posted a while back that their CVS was getting rid of their Tide and had marked it down to I think it was $1.99 or so. The reasoning was something to do with Walmart not wanting them to make that size anymore.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you! It was regular liquid Tide, 80 ounce, Mountain Spring Scent. All of the cleaning clearance that I found was in the laundry detergent/dish soap aisle, in one little section on the shelf. The baking mixes and food clearance was on the coffee/peanut butter aisle in a section on the shelf. Happy hunting!

  12. I found some cleaners and miscellaneous household and "holiday" food items on clearance at Wal-Mart too. I got Tide for $2 after I used a $1 coupon, big boxes of Puffs tissues were $1, Hefty 22 count trash bags were $2.50, Glade scented oil refill packs were $1.62, Behold furniture polish in the large can was $1.00. In the food I found a ton of holiday type baking sets all for $1. These were the Eagle Brand bar sets, as well as some Pumpkin cake, etc. They also had Nestle Chocobake (a premelted chocolate) for $1, Kellogg's Hot Wheels Cereal $1, Warm Delight Mini Bowls 2 packs for .50, Nestle chocolate chips $1, and a bunch of other stuff.
