DS got the Leappad for his 3rd b-day from MIL never really played w/ it...we bought him the leapster and he loves it unfortunately it broke so we will be getting another one! I have to look into the VSmile heard a lot about it???

We have given: -candles -gift bags w/ an assortment of body lotions, sprays etc -boxes of thank you cards -restaurant gift cards -the best was for a teacher that loved ethnic foods went to Trader Joes and bought different sauces, cookies, nut....and put it in a canvas bag ds decorated!! not sure what to do this yr???? we have 4 to give out and that's just one kid

There are 2 WM near us both about 5-8 miles away opposite directions. For yrs we'd go to one and it was crazy. I mean lines were wrapping around the parking lot... cops everywhere. Overall the crowd was super nice but once they opened the doors it was nuts. If anyone saw someone try to "cut in line" they were called out quickly and had to go to the back of the line. The store usually passed out maps of where items would be so this was helpful. For the past 2 yrs dh and I have gone to the other one line was super short in comparison and we were in and out with 20 minutes. Last yr we got ds the kids John Deere no way I could have carried it. We usually split up and use walkie talkies or our cell phones:gd_orange

That deal sounds great. Even if he already has the games I can give them as gifts or sell them on eBay. I did see a set on Samsclub.com for $98.72 it's the leapster, leapster case and 2 games, but I haven't seen it in the store yet. I'll keep my eye out.

We leave home about 5:30am get to Walmart at 5:45am!!!

We've hit the dept stores in the mall that have separate entrances...dh stood in line at KB and I went to Kohl's, Sears and Hecht's and he was still there. KB is off our list this yr! The line was ridiculous.
