Thanks for all the advise. Since it was an online retailer I have the seller note the account and allow free returns if I was not happy w/ the ring.
-
Guessing the half carat is a round with the 1 carat being a fancy shape? If you go to pricescope dot com they have a toolbar at the top where you plug in the specs of the diamond and give average prices from different sellers to make sure it's a good deal.
If all of that checks out i would check with my girlfriend. Some women are allergic to nickel that gold is plated with or other metals and can only wear silver. But on the flip side some women prefer larger diamonds where others prefer a more understated look. It depends on your future fiancé and her preferences with diamond shape and size and any possible allergies or preferences with metals.
Actually, the shape of the 1/2 carat is square, but you are correct on the 1 carat. There are no allergy concerns, I have bought her both silver and gold in the past. I'm just at a toss up on which is the better deal since both rings are close in price. I'll definitely check out that site. I guess I'm luck it isn't just an engagement ring, just a ring to match a set of jewerly I found on here a few years ago that was an absolute steal.
-
Thanks for the advise, both rings are available from the same seller w/ the same quaility - at least w/ clarity, cut and color the same. Different shape.
-
Looking at rings for my gf - found two that I like, one is 10k gold w/ 1/2 ct diamond, the other is a silver w/ 1ct diamond. So which is more important - diamond size or ring material?

Interesting, just had an issue with Kohls last night. I ordered 5 items for Kohls. I received two packages containing 3 out of the 5 items. One of my receipts showed that 4 items should have been in the package containing 2. I called Kohls and they were going to ship the items to me overnight, but the items were out of stock. Kohls called my local store and had them hold the items for me. Gave me an additional 10% off for having to go pick the items up at the store.
-
How do you like it? Due to the late ship date, I probably not going to have the option to return it and get something else if I don't like it.

I'm a premier silver member and got the $10 randomly. My bestbuy.com account is linked to my rewards account, so didn't even have to enter the code when checking out, the option to use the code was right there. This is exactly the problem. Premier Silver Members were left out of the promotion. Best Buy claims it is random, but I want one of them to explain to me just how that is random. The only Premier Silver Members who have received the $10 or $20 bonus are the ones who have called and complained. I've been following similar threads on other websites, this seems to be the case. Myself included. I have been Premier Silver for 5 years running, and I received nothing, even after inquiring. Way to crap on your best customers Worst Buy.

Should be shipping today, anyone hear anything on this?
***EDIT***UPDATE***
Just received this:
Our manufacturer has advised us that the items below have been shipped.
Item # Description
2934044 DIA BRACELET WHITE

I called (and emailed) customer service this weekend and was told everything was fine with the order. I got response to my email today saying pretty much that has been posted here. Just received a voicemail stating the supplier is getting more in stock and that it should be shipped overnight and arrive on the 23 of December, but that it wasn't a guarantee and that if it was a gift I might want a backup plan. Seriously? I've never had a retail store tell me that I might want to think of a backup plan. No wonder I normally don't shop at JCP.com
-
Was just on amazon, its currently in stock for the same price ($149.99):
-
Received the other items ordered, checked the status and it states will ship from the factory on 12/6. The original order form said a week before it would ship.

Well, at my Walmart there were problems. I had a map and found a place where the line for the laptop was supposed to start. I was first in line at 10 p.m. where I thought the line should start. It was not marked with the balloons or any signage. I good size group of people quickly formed. The Walmart employee showed up and acknowledged we were in the right spot. She was told she could hand out the wrist bands and then we could either go get in line for another item, or shop until our item was ready at 5 a.m. I got my wristband about 1030 p.m. and then proceeded to shop around. I later learned that we may have received our wrist bands too early and may have to give them back. I later learned that an angry crowd had formed where the line was. They were angry that the wrist bands were given out early and the line was not clearly marked. I came across this group at the back of the store waiting on a manager to take care of them. These people were sold a different laptop for the same price. They also got to leave the store with their item.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I was happy I got my laptop, but was angry they got to buy theirs and leave. They definately would not have received a laptop at the price in the ad if the wristbands and line had been handled properly. They could have avoided this if they had the lines better marked and been better prepared. I thought Walmart was the expert in organization.
Why were you angry? It seems like WM made a mistake but attempted to correct it and satisfy everyone. Their correction didn't prevent you from getting your item.

Anyone have any idea if these shoes support Nike+? (for when the website comes back up)

I'm new to Kohls BF...with just buying a house, there are a lot of the little stuff like the toaster oven that I could use. Any advice on which items are usually online?
-
Looking for a 40 inch for the living room...wanted a lcd 120 hz/1080p....really like Sony or Samsung...don't see anything special in most of the bf ads. I've already got the 55 in the basement, just need a little one now...most ads in this size are only the 60 hz.

Can't seem to find that price, I can find the game w/ one sensor for $46.99 and the game with the bonus sensor (two total) for $86.00. Not sure why anyone would pay $86 for two sensors when the extra sensor is only $17.00.
But thanks for the tip.

Looking to purchase Wii Sports Resort and an extra motion sensor. Missed out on the black friday deals at Gamestop and haven't seen any deals on the game. Best deal I can find is the TRU buy one game get one half off, but really don't need that second game.

In the past (last year) when I ordered, you had to use the whole certificate in one visit. A lot of times is was not good for specials. Also check the actual offer, most I purchase I had to spend $35 dollars to use the $25 dollar certificate.
