Bumping this thread to remind people that the 20 percent discount ends tomorrow.

The $999.77 price was from amazon itself. I put it in my cart, but never bought it. I looked at it on Sunday and the cart said that the item was no longer offerred by the seller. I took that to mean that they ran out of stock. Last time I looked eTronics had the lowest price (around $1200, but no free shipping and no free wall mount). Oh well. I doubt that it will come back because it was a 2006 model and (I assume) a closeout. I'm keeping it in my cart, just in case.

Last year, my son's teacher gave out gift certificates for sundaes at a local ice cream shop. It was a big hit with this kids (they were in 5th grade at the time).
