  1. I use Merle Norman Luxiva Mineral foundation and I love it and it last forever if you have a Merle Norman near you, you can go in there and they will let you try it on and if you buy it and get home and don't like it they will take it back for a full refund with a receipt withing 15 or 30 days I think
  2. BJs Wholesale has a 2 pack for $4.99...would only cost 99 cents after $4 coupon.

I had to postpone my party til St. Patty's Day...which is kinda neat cause it gives me decorating ideas. Gonna serve Reubens (which is essentially corned beef and cabbage). Also going to serve hummus and cucumber sandwiches. I'll have to think of some others. Any ideas?

You could get some Shamrock cookie cutters and cut the sandwich thins into Shamrock shapes:)

  3. OMG OMG OMG -- I just found out today WHY there are 10-pack MMs for 69 cents. And I really really hope Target employees are NOT as empowered as I always want them to be, because in this case they could take away our 69-cent wonder deal!! AARRGGH!

I found 4 of the 10-pakcs packs but one was leaking badly, all over the shelves. I asked a TM for help to clean off my hands, because I was dripping and sticky, and I also wanted help figuring out which was the leaker so I could buy the others.

She apologized profusely, helped me clear it all up, but it was tough to figure out which one was leaking so she said let me check in back for you and started searching the shelf tags for the item number so she could take it to the back.

Hmm, she says, it's not here. And she grabs the one from my hands and scans it and does a double-take when she sees the price. Oh, she says, this is "Food Avenue."

What's that? I ask, 'cause I've never heard of it.

"These are for the front of the store in the food court. They're supposed to be broken up and each one sold individually for 69 cents. These aren't supposed to be here at all."

She's looking at me with suspicion, like I've done something wrong. I just go "Oh, hmm" and push my cart away.

I'm thinking that Target just gets shipments from MM with all different sizes, and they specifically order the 10-packs to break them up for the food court, but the guy unpacking boxes in the back hasn't been told that, so they're just throwing them on the shelves with the others, not knowing any better.

Target has known about this for at least 2 years because we discussed the same exact thing in a thread 2 years ago about how they were only supposed to be sold in the Food Avenue but were being found on the shelves and someone said something about a memo beiing sent to employees back then also but I still find several packs at both of the Targets in my area each week.

  4. I have been..... Called on 3, and missed every one of them. Good idea though. I saw so many of them listed "before" I needed one! Isn't that always the way. :yup:

I have bought 3 at Target for 19.99 reg 79.99 if you look for the honey brown color then it is the clearanced one not the mahogony

  5. I LOVE GOTTADEAL! Thanks to this website, I was one of the first at our 2 area Target stores and had the pickin' of the 75% clearance. I have 3 kids with birthdays right after Christmas. I was able to buy Christmas, birthday and even some Easter basket stuff for 2 of the 3 today for @ $100! All I need is a killer deal on an MP3 player and portable DVD player and I'm done!!!

Keep watching the Online treads because last week they had an incredible deal for a MP3 player. I'm not sure if it is still listed

  6. This is so crazy, but I keep wanting to take advantage of these deals even though my son's public school provides everything! We don't even have to buy crayons for him!

That is awesome, Our public schools in Byram, MS, a suburb of Jackson, Mississippi ask us to provide everything including papertowels, kleenex, bandaids, ziploc bags, hand soap, hand sanitizer, red ink pens, and dry erase markers, and they always ask you to bring more of some of the things in the middle of the year

  7. I have not received any of the T-Shirts that I have signed up for. I have signed up for 3 different PSP demos (Ratchet and Clank in March, Gods of War in April and Tennis in May) I have yet to receive any of these although I did just receive an email from Playstation today that said

Your God of War: Chains of Olympus Special edition demo is coming 09/07.

  8. I'm sure this is very YMMV but it never hurt to look. Yesterday I got nine pair of jeans and cords for my DH for 1.97. They are all original 40.00 pants! Happy Hunting.

I was talking to the cashier at my local Old Navy the last time I found some 1.97 deals and she told me that it is up to each store manager to mark things down so low and the reason they mark it so low is because they cant order anything new in a particular dept until all of one item is gone. That probably explains why employees find things like the valentines pajamas 1 month after valentines (this happened at my local Old Navy) because a manager hid them to be able to get the St Patricks day PJs

  9. I went to our Target last night to check out the light bulbs. When I got there I picked up a pack and noticed a hole in the top, some others completely opened up, all red cards removed from each and every pack, white cards were left behind.

I noticed the same thing when I went today. I just happened to get lucky and pick up a pack that wasn't opened yet and when I opened it there was a red card in there but it didn't have the amount listed on it. When the cashier scanned it it was for $5.00 but most packs had a hole in them.

  10. My ad says 10% off one dozen large eggs,,,,bummer.

But I did manage to find the Kitchen Aid 14 piece revolving countertop carousel cutlery set for $24.xx marked down from $99.xx - and I used 5 of the $5.00 gift cards I found in the clearenced light bulbs to pay for it. :)

I went on Sunday and I managed to find the 14 piece knife set for $24.xx it was on an endcap in the stationary section:runaway:

  11. Ok so after reading this thread I decided to run out to our local Old navy today after class and see what I could find. The selection wasn't huge but they had everything that I could want.

    I only spent 10.19

    1 - Frisbee

    3 - Black long sleeve t-shirts

    1 - Sweatshirt

    2 - long sleeve polo's

    2 - fleece pull overs

    1 - t-shirt short sleeve

    1 - Dress blouse

Thanks tablsu for starting this thread!!! I plan to hit the Old navy in the mall when we head to the movies later this evening. :yup:

Your Welcome. Congrats on the great deals. Its really just a gamble, you never know when you will walk in and find things for such a low price. Some days I go in and I cant find any really good deals but other days I get lucky and find great markdowns.:)
