  1. Target cpn question: Does anyone use a black & whitemonochrome printer for their on-line cpns they use at Target? My old HP 1210 all-in-one doesn't seem to print clearly, and so cashiers always seem to have to type the numbers in -- and with my cpn frenzy, they don't seem very happy. This seems like it would be a lot clearer and probably then would scan. But am wondering about the color issue not being on the cpns? Since my cpns never seem to scan ... I've never had the guts to tried expired cpns, and a $69 laser Samsung at Staples seems like it would pay for itself, just using Target cpns ??? But of course, no red dot!
  2. I was not able to get the 5450 promotion to work with a $7.00 purchase plus shipping. Said my order did not qualify for this promotion. Those who got it to work, did you already have an account back in Dec? It would seem I could have gotten the bag and coupon in Dec, but not set an account up until today. Any advice?

Oooops! Figured it out. Sorry. (Had to add it first!!!)

  4. REGARDING EXPIRED TARGET COUPONS

How do you get these top go through? Is it b/c the cashier doesn't notice the date -- or is there info somewhere that Target corporate agrees their expired coupons can be used. My printer is an older inkjet, and most, not all, of the coupons I print don't scan through automatically and takes the cashier inputting the numbers. Would love to use some of the expired coupons, but so far haven't had the guts! Thanx!

  5. Question on the free certificate. I purchased a certificate 2/17 using the VALENTINE code (THANKS), got it at 50% off, but did not receive any indication after the purchase of the free certificate. And I can't find it on the account. I emailed restaurant.com that morning (seond email this morning) and have not received a reply from them. How did you get yours?

Second question: We're going to spend next week in Hilton Head and a couple days in Savannah. Have any of you used the restaurant.com coupons at listed restaurants either place?

  6. I thought this was a good deal and tried, but it doesn't seem to come out the same. One question - when I pick the buy two option (4 times) and then only 6 towels shows up on the order ... are the other 2 automatically going to be shipped? I'm a little confused. And the price is around $26 ... which makes me think something isn't ringing up right. Shouldn't all 8 towels show on the final order? Appreciate the post and your help clarifying this.
  7. Just got back from Office Max and they are closing out rolling briefcases and backpacks. I got a $99.99 Ralph Lauren rolling case for $9.90 and the $49.99 backpacks (Chaps) were $4.99.

Which Office Max are you around? Fantastic deals. Hope we have deals like these in FL tomorrow.

  8. Question about rebates in general: When the form says one per address and one request per envelope ... has anyone mailed a couple small non-postage envelopes w/ rebates for different homes within one stamped envelope? I just posted a FRESH EXPRESS form to get a free pedometer, and since I eat lots of salad, plan to send out some to family members at other addresses. Just thinking about saving the 39 cent stamp. There's no email to site to ask questions on the rebate form.
  9. My choice is Costco. I generally find them cheaper, with a better selection, and it seems to me (but that may relate to my choices). I'm in FL and Sam's is much closer, and the extra drive is worth it for me.

I'm in Long Island some summers and there the difference btw BJ's and Costco price wise is huge. It seems like Costco's price is pretty much the same FL oe Long Island, and the local prices are much different ... so with groceries it really saves there.

On the downside, the lines at Costco seem longer to me.
