I was upset that I have to work Saturday until I remembered the toy clearance!
My store went 75% today. I was the only one there early except for the workers. One was filling her second cart with toys and checked out right before me. Needless to say several things I wanted were gone, they got the last ones including a TS Barbie.
I guess it's a perk for working there. I did spend $200!! All at 75% off. Question, do girls play with Thomas? 
I got one of everything they had & extra track. -

Should I be looking in the individual department of these as opposed to the seasonal section? I only saw cards, candy & tissue paper.

Most of what I bought was not in with the VD clearance. They were not marked, and in with the childrens & ladies dept. toy dept. Scan everything with a heart & look for items with different qty.,or red hangers, slippers have stripes. Baby dept.look for different colored tags then the new stock. Pink trim not yellow. It took time but was well worth it, especially with 7 grandaughters!

my Target manager. 90% off VDay lots of candy, sox, slippers, clothes, animals, blanket, washcloths etc. To top off all of that, the Graco Alana travel system in mulbury for $23 regular $198!!!! Mgr. even took it out & put it in my car:D

If your buying fom Homedepot or Lowes make sure you go to the post office and get a moving envelope. There is a 10% off coupon inside both will honor.

No luck on the big baby gear this morning! I found the person marking down baby stuff and he scanned some items for me. One small item was marked 75% off today, but the bigger things were still at 50% off. Maybe Target is hoping that some of the 50% off
Thanks for the update. Saved me a 1/2 hr drive. With the baby sale it will be harder to find 75% this year.
Hopefully new mothers registered for the new items on their list not the discontinued ones. Seveal stores near me were already sold out of big items 2 weeks ago! Hoping to catch some returns at 75%. -
Has any one been lucky enough to catch the big baby items at 75% in past years? I bought the Stroller/Car seat combo at 50% which is a great deal but I am just wondering if I should have waited for 75%.
We have purchased all baby items at 75%. Care seats, strollers, pack& plays, medela pump in style etc. It just depends on how many your store has in stock & if you want to risk not being able to get it. Many stores do not stock as much as they use to.

Has anyone in N.E Ohio seen toys yet at 75%? I had to work today& hate to drive 1/2 hr. FYI for the 1st time that I can remember Walmart has been clearing alot of toys at 75%. I got the 50th aniversary barbies for $10 & many... other toys, including playschool that work with their coupons!

Not worth it for me to go.......only clearance was a rack of junk...rest was sale so not eligible for 50% off...many people complained
The prices on top of alot of racks were not correct. I has to scan the items to find the clearance prices! They were cheeper than marked.

Toys 75% this week:eek: I just gave up my Thursday off for next week! Totally forgot about the toy clearance. Last summer they did it all instages, not all items to 75% on one day.

I had a great day at Macy's. I bought sooooo... much for the grandkids. The cleark was so happy she added an additional 20% off to my order & hugged me! Fyi may daughter got 2 discontinued matresses with an additional 10% off.

Ma. went a day early last year too. It's all YMMV. Here last year in OH. stores within 5 miles changed to 75% on different days.

I don't think Target clearance will ever be the same as it use to be. As posted before. Last year they went to a JIT (just in time) system. They do not stock as much as they use to. They now order as they need it. Many companies have gone to this system to cut costs. Merry Chrismas to all, and a wish for great deals in the new year!
