  1.

Good for you. You know what you are doing. I would do the same thing. If they were thinking people were taking advantage of the coupons, they would of done something when people were getting the choxies for free. There is nothing wrong with being frugal. Nowadays, you got to try and save money where you can with everything else going up in price like gas and utilities. When I have extra, I give to others and I am sure you do too.

I would not do the same though. It is like taking away all the fun with you. I would have left some for fellow Perusars to grab such deals. After all, one cannot justify buying everything on the store and hide behind the Donation cap.

There are many people here, who are in need of such deals and would want to save money. Also, It gives a sense of satisfaction buying things at a lower price.

Enough Said. Sorry if it hurts any one.

  2. Only one night is free.. not the entire stay...

  3. Thank you Rae, Went to my local khols, they had 15 earring pairs, either cloudy or with inclusions. I did not buy any, But I bought a nice opal ring and chain for 75% off (orig $300) , but i did not get the additional 15% off. The sales women said , additional 15% applies only to Diamod ear rings and not opal.

But anyway she was nice enough and gave me 10% off of my khols card though i did not have the monthly coupon,

  4. Generally after rebate check is mailed, Staples sends email to the customer .Though online status may say check has been mailed, check is not mailed until you receive the email. It has happened to me twice before and I am still waitin for my BF rebates.

This doesn't explain why the rebates from BF are going on 9 weeks now. Says "check mailed" and it's not here. I konw what I'm looking for, I've gotten them in the past. Ridiculous that it's taking so long for EVERYONE to get their Staples rebates!

  5. Is Circuit City trying to scam. It happened to me too. My rebate was denied with "invalid price ", when I called up CC the customer rep. fixed it in no time. May be they are rejecting rebates and then grant them only if the customer calls back????

I am so totally fed up with Circuit City.

Did Black Friday shopping online with Circuit City, everything had MIRs. I sent in the rebates the following Monday. Yesterday (January 12), I get 4 letters in the mail from Circuit City Rebates, telling me that my rebates were missing various information (3 said I was missing the purchase date and/or price, 1 said it was an ineligible product). I keep all paperwork, and had sent in every bit of information they needed.

There's a phone number at the bottom of the letters, so I called today (after some deep breathing). Thankfully got a very nice customer service rep, and in less than 10 minutes, he'd "fixed" whatever the problems were. All he did was pull up the record, make a click or two, and told me it was fixed. Rebates should be mailed in 7-10 days.

Now, why couldn't they have been processed correctly the first time? I included the rebate form, completely filled out, the UPC codes, and the receipts, with purchase price circled. What more do they need??

I'm guessing they hope that people are either too disorganized, or too tired to care, and just let the rebate go. That's disgusting.

  6. Hmm... you are 75% correct ;) it is pure math i guess.

Most of the products are marked xx.99 , so when it is

    % off - Price

    50% - xx.48

    75% - xx.24

so, anything that ends with 4, you can say, they are 75% off and may be salvaged if not sold, unless it goes 90%, but the better bet is to look for the discount % on top of the red sticker.

Went to Target last night here at the Harbison Blvd one and they have all thier solar lights and spot lots at 4.74 or 8.74. Not much toy clearance is left only the junk other people didnt want.

Question: My husband whom I have turned into a target hound, found out something interesting and I want to ask to see if its true or what. When something goes on clearance and its marked down and down, when the last digit is 4 thats the lowest its going to get. He now walks around the permieter and points out things with 4 at the end and says salvage soon for you. HA HA. Anyone know about this or is this something new. One of the people who work at Target Corp told him his. Hmmmmm????
