DealExtreme- Anyone heard of this?

Good deals with free standard shipping. But very disappointed with the "Express" shipping because I paid over 18 bucks extra for EMS but did not get my order til 3 weeks later. -

$399 laptop @ BB - why wait until Black Friday?
blued79 replied to RossMAN's topic in Offline Hot Deals
If you live in San Antonio, there's a Best Buy in 1604 and Alamo Ranch, they had it in stock when I last checked on Monday, and it IS on their flyer. Tell them it's on page 22 of their weekly ad. Kudos to you for driving around in this heat! -
They're having a doorbuster sale this Saturday. 50% off all summer clothing (shorts, swimsuit, etc). Also, the 2 for $5 flip flops will be on sale for only $1. I just bought a few pairs but I was told to bring my receipt on Satuday.

This is an excellent deal for this laptop. I purchased one a few months back and shelled out an extra 40 bucks from buy.com to expand the memory to 2 GB. -

If you're looking for a Dell, this one is a good deal. For 399.00, shipping is included. You also have the option of getting either Vista or XP. If you get Vista, make sure you go for the bigger memory size. Otherwise, it should run okay on XP for the cheapest price. http://www.dell.com/content/products...b%3Dbundlestab

Acer is a good brand. Mine runs on XP and I haven't had any problems with it. IMO, it's a good starter laptop for students and non-gamers.
