  1. Well, went to the closest outlet mall around 2PM. The parking lots were kind of full, but traffic went a bit smooth. found a good parking spot (by luck). we were just there for mingling with the crowd, not really buying anything. stayed by the playground that the kid loves while wife perused. Left around 5PM. The place was a monkey house. Long line of cars trying to still get in at 5PM. Took a while for us to get out. There were still lines at a lot of the more popular stores like Tory Burch, Nike, Timberland, Tommy etc. Some still had like 100 people in line at 5PM. I do not remember these many people in line at 5PM. Bloomingdales had 50% on top of the clearance pricing, so you could get some really good deals like 90% off regular pricing. I suppose these major stores saw probably less traffic since they had these online sales going on for days already (even in store sales), and their doorbuster items were pretty poor. People hit the outlet mall instead. I particularly see no reason to even step foot in a brick and mortar store anymore on BF unless like an outlet mall where there are more things to do than just shop for junk.
  2. no much really. my son is old enough to finally get a gaming console, so opted for the cheapest nintendo switch along with a couple of games. I really don't need anything else
  3. well, bestbuy pulled thru with the most decent deal. went live a couple hours before it was supposed to, and it was available online before they changed it to IN STORE ONLY deal. getting it delivered tomorrow. target had the same price, but amex sweetened the deal with a $25 off 250. what the heck is wallmart doing? their price is more expensive than both best buy and target. BJs also had it at the lower price too.
  4. i have two plasmas that must be 15 years old (or more) and they work great (not getting rid of them). seems stuff made nowadays is made to not last very long but is much much cheaper. I suppose you get what you pay for. BJs has 55in Samsungs for less than $300. I am sure other retails are in the same ballpark.
  5. Looking for a Nintendo Switch this year. Any deals to be had? I have not seen much in the ads to far. How do you guys feel about this?
  6. very hard to read the terms and conditions, but can you discern more about the sweepstakes they are running?
  7. i have some items on this. come on hd, turn the damn thing on so i can go to bed. lowes is up
  8. they finally came to their senses without changing prices over the course of long hours. that system was ridiculous. i think someone sadist was having fun the previous years.
  9. where does it say? do not see anything about that. in any case, they are loosing sales to amazon, best buy and some of he other places that decided to put everything online at 12am or before. who the heck decided that 3am is a good choice to go live? at least go live with everyone else. i bet they were betting on other places going lve at 3 or later.
  10. ridiculous that these people still have not turned on their sales. even best buy is all up quite early (used to be all in stages until the morning). bought what i needed at amazon and other stores before target. i guess they are loosing my business
  11. got my fire tablet and echo dot a few minutes ago since prices are live
  12. eyeing a few things, but never gotten much from amazon black friday. hate that they add deals randomly. people have too much time on their hands to chase those.
  13. seems home10 and the 20% codes are not working anymore. glad i waited and got some stuff last night. by the way people, if you have samsung pay you can get the kohls gift cards for 20% off, so i was able to same another 20% on top of whatever i saved at kohls.
  14. yeah, seems to have changed on what I was looking, or i might be mistaken.
  15. same thing riven3d. i see some items that are the bf price or lower, but the rebates say valid in store and online and only on the 24th and 25th. kind of idiotic from kohls to put their items online and not offer the rebates. i am not sure if i am going to take a gamble or not.
