  1. Funny...it worked for me...

I guess I'll call them in the morning to see if I can get the deal. It certainly still isn't working for me.

  2. Crutchfield has the 540tm for $110 with free shipping after code 3A825. I'm hoping to get 4% cashback on this as I started my transaction from shopdiscover. This is the best deal IMHO as the 540tm allows for multidestination routes. If this is not important to you and you prefer a simpler interface, get the 550tm from Best Buy for $130. Get 5% back from shopdiscover. If you can wait until saturday, you may get the 540tm from staples for $130 - 10% with the coupon in their ad. All great deals!

The discount code didn't work for me. It said it doesn't work on certain TomToms and I guess this is one of them. It's unfortunate because I would have preferred this to the 350TM that I just bought from BB.

  3. The one on Amazon only had lifetime maps (340M) as opposed to the 350TM that Best Buy is selling has lifetime traffic and lifetime maps. On Amazon, their selling the 340TM for $120. I had time to do research on the 350TM vs the 340TM too and I would have preferred the 340TM but I didn't have an extra $20 to give to Amazon.
  4. What do you think is the best bet right now? Im looking at 3 TVs and they are these...

37" Element for $499.99 at CC

32" Toshiba for $449.99 at CC

37" Sylvania for $379.99 at Meijers

I dont know much about either of the 3 TV's but i know i need atleast 2 HDMI's and atleast 2 A/V's. Id really like a 37" but Toshiba is a trusted name and I trust them more but $70 less I get 5" more. Any help would be much needed. Thanks

Where do you see a 37: Sylvania at Meijers? When I looked at the ad, I didn't see it.

  5. Brad,

I really hate the fact that some of your affiliate accounts are being terminated. Is it possible that you can consider some alternatives to posting the ad:

    1) Posting the ads for limited time (24-48 hours) for people to save onto their computers and then taking it down.

    2) Only posting BF ads in the forums, then it won't officially be on the site.

  6. Ya'll, I'm having a serious debate with myself as to which laptop I should choose. I've narrowed it down to two laptops. Their both at CC, so I'm going to have to suffer with the MIR.

    1) Compaq Presario Dual-Core 15.4" Laptop w/ 1GB RAM - $299

-->1 GB mem, 80GB hard drive, Intel Pentium dual-core processor

    2) Toshiba Satallite Laptop with AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Laptop - $399

-->1 GB mem, 120GB hard drive, AMD Athlon X2 dual-core processor

My main issue is the processor and memory. Although $400 is a deal, I don't really want to pay that and still upgrade the memory so that the Athlon processor runs EXTREMELY well.

But if I get the laptop for $300, I wouldn't mind upgrading the memory, but then I'm worried about it working well with the Pentium processor, even if I upgrade the memory.

I only want to use the laptop to surf the internet, do schoolwork, and watch movies. No gameplaying or videoediting or anything like that.

    What is the better deal?

  7. Is it just me, or is the Navigon 2100 going to give the TomTom One LE a run for its money?

Although the reviews for the Navigon 2100 were general, it seems like a pretty good buy.

Does anyone know anymore specifics about the Navigon 2100? The things I'm wondering about specifically are:

    1) How easy will it recalculate your route?

    2) How long does it take to find the satellite signal?

    3) Itinerary planning/Multidestination planning available?

    4) User-friendly?

    5) Determines good routes instead of long, drawn out routes?

Marcster, thanks for all your hard work.

  8. I work for an electronics manufacturer, specifically in the pricing department for capacitors and the price has very little to do with viewing quality and longevity of the end product. How well the product is going to last depends more on the company they received the product from. Many companies use inferior materials to create capacitors therefore, create inferior product. I work for the #1 supplier in the world for components and there is a reason why companies like Sony, Toshiba, LG, Panasonic, etc., have long lasting product and other companies don't.

Don't get me wrong, just because it doesn't have a name brand doesn't make it bad, but price of the interior components has nothing to do with it.

  9. I'm new to shopping at Best Buy in Atlanta.

I've read about some waiting in line and getting tickets. Others have discussed about the PSA program.

Can someone tell me what it's like shopping at a Best Buy in Atlanta on BF?

Can I do the PSA program? Or can I order my stuff online instead of waiting in line? Or will they give us tickets, so the best thing to do is get in line early?

    TIA
