  1. WHAT? They dx'd the miscarriage at the store? Even if she were far enough along to hear a heartbeat, paramedics don't dx miscarriages - you go to to the hospital and get an ultrasound. Babies are SOOOOOO incredibly well protected in the womb, it'd take some severe trampling on her abdomen to cause it to die... that is just weird to me.. I don't doubt that in a rare case it could happen but being told at the scene that her baby died? Nope. Don't buy it. Even if she were severely bleeding, they wouldn't tell her that.

I am sorry about the worker. That is terrible. :(

I thought the same thing, sounds fishy to me. It is sad about the Wmart worker, though. I was at Walmart this morning, and I feel that they are TERRIBLY unorganized with BF. I know that shoppers can get crazy, but I do feel if there was a bit more organization with BF at these stores, that some tragedies can be prevented.

  2. My order hasn't been charged to my account either. But I have been receiving "confirmation emails" almost every day saying that my order has been received, and that they will let me know when it will be shipped. I've been going back and forth with sears.com reps since black friday. They erroneously charged me 207 dollars for an order that should have been no more than 50. The confirmation emails have these horrendous prices on them. Sears keeps telling me that they have made "notes" to correct the pricing on my order. I SWEAR I will never order from Sears.com again.
  3. I left the Compusa in Baton Rouge. LA about 30 minutes ago, and the line was still wrapped along the side of the building. They started letting people in around 8:40ish, and are letting them in a group at a time. Midnight may come and go and some of those people may not get in!! There were quite a few people at best buy, but they were all huddled up on the ground and the line of shopping carts obscured my view.
  4. I've never waited outside at a Sears either and I'll be doing so this year. My question is this; since all of the Sears that I know of have multiple entrances, which one should I line up at to get in first? Does it matter? Should I just line up at the entrance that's closest to the dept that I'm headed for?

I know that in the past when the gift cards were given out, we had to line up at the service entrance. I usually made it to sears between 3:30-3:45 in order to ensure my gift card. I believe I am usually around 30th or so in line when I make it at that time. However, since there is no gift card, I have no reason to line up there this year.

  5. I've noticed that Sears has had pretty good clearance sales for the last few weeks. I've been racking up. Got tons of dress blouses, skirts, and shirts for 3.99-7.99. I love the Rena Rowan satin trimmed tanks that were on sale for 3.99. Be cautious though, some may be 3.99, some may be 1.99, but Sears has a thing for pricing by color. Some of their "newer colored tanks were 10-12.99, while the "older colors" were 1.99-3.99. I was shocked, they were all the same tanks! But oh well, there are still great deals to be found there!
