...looks like HHGregg has a few to add to the discussions
-
HHGregg has an 11% coupon that would probably bring the price below or equal to a BF Deal:
We just got our daughter a LG pair for $533 each. Regular price $799.

YES!!!!!! Sears outlet ad posted..... I don't think it is as good as the deal last year, but the front page in the middle appears to be a nice whirlpool model: http://www.appliancesconnection.com/i204006-whirlpool-wfw94hexw-pair1.html?ref=froogle $1874
I just wonder if these models are NEW from SearsOutlet or not?
This series has TERRIBLE reviews on amazon

UGH!!! I can't decide

Here's a fairly quick way to see what everyone has for their BF sales, go here: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/search.php and in the search field type 'washer'. It should pull up all washers and any sets that incl washers. If you click on the camera icon you can see what the washer/dryer looks like. hth
ah ha... good tip
I have been trying to "trick" the system by sorting by highest price... and typically that got me pretty close to what I was looking for.
-
YIKES!!!
Looks like HD and Lowes just released their BF ads..... off to search them to see if there is any better deals than Sears
-
After going back and looking at the deals...nothing sticks out.
The Kenmore set on the left of page 30 of the sears ad seems like the best overall deal..... but looking for a little better. I might just go with that one though. It got pretty good reviews.

Last year that was my big purchase for myself and about 3 weeks before black friday came across a sale on front loading Bosch set with steam dryer that came to $1100 including the gas surcharge at Appliancesmart. i was a bit hesitant on making the purchase as I didn't want to be kicking myself if there was a better deal to be had but the ads I was waiting on weren't out yet. I decided to just get the deal. To me I figured if I was w/in $50-100 of what it was going to be on BF it was worth getting ahead of time and save the BF shopping time going after other deals. It turned out any BF deal was equal or higher to get a front loading set with the steam dryer so I was very happy I didn't wait. I suggest checking around at some of your local appliance stores now to see if you can find something in the price range you want to spend (using last years BF pricing as a guideline).
Wow, that is a great deal. I have been looking, but not seeing much as far as a GREAT DEAL. Some decent ones...but nothing special

I just saw Sears ad on here.....
They had several very promising sets. I am looking for best bang for the buck. Need as large a set as possible and would like some of the new bells and whistles.
Last year I was dead set on a top of the line Samsung set.

Probably wait for Sears, if the set at BB doesn't work for you.
Yeah, the BB one is not that great. Just going I didn't really blow it by but getting the set from last year

Any stores closing around you? shelving units like that are dirt cheap if you can find a place going out of business and is selling everything. And check to see if you have a Habitat store around you. They recycle stuff when people are doing demos - so you may find a garage door unit and the shelves if you call and ask.
Yeah, I have been scouring craigslist and things for store closures...etc. They all seem to have the typical "knick-knack" type shelves that won't really work all that well.
We have several Habitat re-stores in my general area, and I check there from time to time without much luck. Seems like mostly junk in this area (Dayton, OH)

Lowes currently has the Samsung washer and dryer for $499 each, may be a slightly different model...
This deal is also posted (smaller cu ft though)
Samsung 3.7 cu.ft. Front-Load Steam Washer or 7.3 cu.ft. Dryer - $499 Each
Yeah, it is a slightly diff model: At least from what I can tell
WF350ANW - http://www.samsung.com/us/appliances/washers-dryers/WF350ANW/XAA ($999 MSRP)
Wf511AB - http://www.samsung.com/us/appliances/washers-dryers/WF511ABR/XAA ($1399 MSRP)

Go here to search the BF ads: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/search.php
Just type in Washer
It will pull up just washers, but also combos - what you want. There should be a little camera icon next to most listings, click on it, and it should pull up a picture to the item in the ad. hth
awesome

Do you have an HHgregg near you. I thought the washer and dryer set in their ad (front page) was nice. I remember looking at shelving units in the ads last year, but have not paid attention this year. Try using the search feature in the Black Friday ad section. I love that search button!!
...ah man.... good tip. For some reason I am stuck on the "pictures". Something about "seeing" it and how I am trained to look for deals! haha. I will try that though.
I do have an HHG pretty close. Lemme go look at their ad
Thats a pretty good deal at Sears. Looks Good to me.
Yeah, I think so too
-
search online,you will find more
hhmmmm......well, I am using the interwebz
-
I did see a garage door opener in one of the ads but I don't remember which store it was in, check the sears ad and all the hardware store ads.
Thanks for the reply. yeah, I saw the opener, but I need everything.... the door and all. ha. Prob will only get a decent deal if I get them all togehter kind thing
Lowes had the Samsung washer and dryer on sale last week. It was posted somewhere on here so maybe you can search for that post. I belive they were 540.00 each, they were also the steam set. HHgregg also had them at a good price last week. I have had a Samsung set for over a year now and love it. But I paid 750.00 each, that's why I noticed the price being so low:eek:
I think I saw the ad you were talking about, but I think it was a couple models lower than the one I posted at Sears. I really WATCH the model numbers of things closely. The one I posted is one of the best I have seen..... but I tihnk it might be discountinued (hence lower price). Like I said, I might be swayed to stay local and go "big box" for convenience, but that deal at Sears Outlet is pretty SMOKIN' for a new in the box. A lot of times they only sell scratch and dent... etc
IE....here is the model machine on there website, and as a refurb going for $1,000: http://www.searsoutlet.com/d/inventory_details.jsp?cid=526&pid=80452&mode=buyUsedOnly&to=cart&pn=1&ps=10&disp=sel&ffmChannelDelModeInApp=BOTH&deals=No&zip=45322
NEW at Sears for $1234: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_02646912000P?blockNo=1&blockType=G1&prdNo=1&i_cntr=1321923003716
...one problem though. I can't seem to find much pricing EXCEPT for Sears! ha

Ok, so I have 2 major needs this Holiday season and I would like to get them addresses for CHEAP....so, hopefully Black Friday deals. I actually have 3, but not sure the 3rd will be possible.....so here goes.
#1 - I need some high quality shelving for my basement. Long story short we have a small water issue that I would like to keep from becoming a major issue by getting everything NEATLY organized and off the basement floor. So, I need something high quality that will hold a good amount of weight (your normal storage totes filled with Holiday stuff, pictures and some BOOKS!!!) ;P . I have looked everywhere up til now and they are SUPER expensive and I would like to get a few so I can fully outfit the space. I saw Home Depot has a somewhat small one for $34.88 and from what I can tell that is about $30 cheaper than anywhere else. I would like something bigger and a little "nicer", but if that's what gets the job done and CHEAP.....then I'll do it. Anyone know of anywhere else?
#2 - Washer / Dryer. Ours is approaching 10yrs old and while not a "priority" if the price is right...I might be swayed. Best I can find is here at Sears Outlet (middle of page) (new in box):
http://c780222.r22.cf2.rackcdn.com/img1.jpg
I did see lowe's and home depot have slightly lower end (from reviews and specs) for slightly higher price, but they are a decent amount closer and prob easier to deal with should there be a problem. Thoughts?
# 3 _ I don't think this one is Black Fridayable....but I also need a whole new Garage Door Kit...IE....Door, Opener, Track..etc, etc, etc. .....and likely need it installed. DO places like this DO Black Friday!? ;P
Thanks for any help. With my 17 month old running me ragged I can't quite search the deals like I used to. I appreciate ANY help!

Why won't it go the other way!!!!!!
$589.99
-
CRUD!!!
It went up to 571.99

I'm currently replacing a 7 year old desktop (hp 523w) and a 5 year old xps14, with an awesome refurbished HP desktop I bought off of woot and this laptop so anything is going to be amazing to me. LOL!!!! I popped open this baby, started it up and I could hear the awes and ohs of angels singing in the background...... bwaa ha ha!! I'm currently switching files and programs and am so happy I can run CS3, lightroom and a few other programs that have been gathering dust for a year. I'm in love with my laptop...... once I figure out how to properly use windows 7, I'll be a happy camper
I've bought several refurbished items from newegg and have yet to be disappointed. I priced the extended warranty offered by newegg with squaretrade and went with the newegg warranty.
hhhmmmm,...... I am SO tempted with this one
Washer/Dryer deal?
