  1. If you took the battery exam, and scored well enough to get included in a hiring roster ( IF the USPS is hiring where you live), you can NOT be passed over if you are qualified...meaning you have all your limbs and no injury that would prevent you from working. Good Luck!

I just recently took my DD214(military Hon discard paperwork) to them and now awaiting exam to take an exam. Veterans have 120 days after release what I understand to be eligible to take exams thats not being put out to the public. They are never hiring in the public which I understand is they mostly hire within and also my aunt is a post master in my area so I have a little chance after I take exam.

  2. How do I get to the Credit Card Authorization section?

How can I tell if I have a valid credit card on file?

On the Your Account page, click “Edit or delete a payment method” under the “Payment Settings” heading. You will see the last few digits and the expiration dates for all of the credit cards that you have on file with us. Make sure that at least one of the credit cards is not expired. Check with your banking institution if you have any questions as to the validity of the card.

How can I add a valid credit card to my account if I don’t have one on file?

On the Your Account page, click “Manage Your Address Book” (which is listed in the “Personal Information” header in the “Account Settings” section). See example.

Make sure that your credit card billing address is listed as one of the addresses on this page. (If it is not listed, click the “Enter a New Address” button at the top of the page in order to add your credit card billing address.) See example.

Click the “Edit 1-Click settings for this address” button in the box to the right of your credit card billing address. See example.

On the following page, you will be prompted to add the number, card type, name, and expiration date associated with your credit card.
