I went to WM at midnight BF and missed out on the waffle maker, so I was quite disappointed. Then I stopped to Target on my way to work and missed it there. Fast forward to Sunday night and since I wanted to get a waffle maker for my wife I looked at what was on the shelf. The display is a GE and all the signs say GE and yet I find not one but two Oster waffle makers from BF. Not believing my eyes, I take 1 to the price scanner and it rings up as $9.99. I ran back and grabbed the other one (great gift to have on hand). Morale of the story: check back for special door busters that may have returned, left elsewhere, etc as the deal may still available.

I know for BF I went to Warwick Mall to go to JCPenny's instead of Attleboro because all the rebates were instant in RI and CT, as far as I remember, the ad clearly stated MIR, instant rebate in RI and CT. Let me know the item that you were interested in, I am 2 minutes from the other Sears in RI, and I know a couple of people that work there. I'll try to find out what the deal is.

I just got 3 tickets for tonight's show, tried ticketmaster all morning went to the arena at lunch was told they had some but they are gone. Ticketmaster 8 minutes ago, 3 tickets..... Happy SIL's tonight.

my Lowes (essentially across the street) had plenty of stuff and I picked up a great wreath originally $39 and I paid $22.

fyi, i was at the target in lincoln, ri and told they were sold out. however there were 7 in seekonk, ma and 4 in warwick, ri. This was about 20 minutes ago.

only the plum and terra cotta are $2.97, the green is $5.97 and the white is $6.97. None available near me.

I am continuing a tradition from prior to my grandmother, of the nuts and an orange. For those of you who are wondering about the fruits and nuts in stockings, what I have been told by my grandmother was that it has to do with when these items were scarce and considered a luxury. At least that's the story I was told. My wife thinks it's stupid but we still do it because I say so.

I was able to get 2 pairs of shoes for 3yo today for 3.24 and 3.74. Also, Red Sox championship series shirt 75% off 3.24 to 4.48. World Series were 50% off I'll give them another week or so before they are 75% off too.

my ds is almost 3, and we've never had the tree where he could get to it. This year we've put our tree up in the livingroom where he spends most of his time, and have gotten him to the point where he leaves the tree alone. we don't trust him with present yet. i think we'll test this weekend (my parents come to visit now for both holidays) and see how he does.

my store had them at 89.99 today. I never saw anything for that price in my hard copy of the local ad.

I am horrible about the gifts for my wife. Always see an opportunity where she needs something. Now we have kids and we try to give them as much as we can, it kills me to wait the whole month to give them everything. I love the idea about pj's and an ornament.

I looked at doing that as well, but then went to the nut house know as TRU. However, I got everything I needed. I went back latter in the day and it was a piece of cake.
