  1. OOOoooooo, I'm tempted. I'll have to sniff some at the mall this week, then come home and order my favorites off the web. One for my mom, one for my mil, and some more for me!! That Vanilla Carmel sure sounds good. How often do they have a sale like this? Does anyone use a candle warmer instead of lighting the wick? I was thinking about getting a warmer and wondered where I could get one cheap.
  2. I have the Craig from ToysRUs. I bought it over a month ago to take on a cross country flight with 3 kids. So far it has been pretty good, no major problems. I don't believe it has a resume feature, but other than that, it's OK. Picture is pretty good. I paid $119 in early October and got a free DVD then, too.
  3. Hey y'all! Meijer has a remote car starter kit with free installation kit on BF for $38.88. I was thinking of getting this for dh for Christmas. He has to get up at 4:30 to go to work and I thought it might make his morning easier if he didn't have to go out and start his car.

Does anyone have one of these? Do they work? How easy is installation? DH drives a 1995 Honda Civic (don't laugh, it's paid for and runs great!). Just wondering if it's worth it before I try to go get it.

    TIA,

    Julie

  4. Meh....not impressed. I don't like the KB Toys store in my mall anyway. It is very small and crowded and they only let a few people in at a time. I've never thought their deals were that great on anything I wanted.
  5. Super Mommy...

Do you have Windows Media Player on your computer? I just load/rip my CDs to Media player and then sync (transfer) the songs I want to my mp3 player. I'm sure there's other software available. Media player is pretty easy to use. Of course, you can't use Media Player with an Ipod, I don't think.

  6. They will stay home with their dad while I shop, shop, shop!

I get out early and get home before 10:00-11:00. Alot of the stuff I buy will be for them, anyway. I like to do BF alone because other people tagging along slows me down. I got alot of stores to cover in a short amount of time!

  7. Steamboater, I am by no means an expert on mp3 players, but I think that the SanDisk 512 MB at Best Buy for $ 39.99 (reg price $99.99) is a good deal if you want something small and inexpensive to get started. I have the older model SanDisk 512mb. I bought it last summer and it works great. I walk/run with it. I load my music on my computer using Windows Media player and then sync it to the mp3 Player, which you connect by a USB cable included with the mp3 player. When it's done, you disconnect the mp3 player and take it wherever you go, like a Walkman. I have about 125 songs (wma files) on mine right now. If you want to load a lot of music, you need a player with a hard drive, like an Ipod. I don't really know much about those types of players.

    Hope that helps.

  8. Will BB honor their price matching policy on BF? Normally, they will refund the difference if something you bought there goes on sale cheaper within 30 days. My mom bought the SanDisk 512 mp3 for my son a few weeks ago when it was on sale there for $ 69. I thought she got a pretty good deal then. Now it's going to be $ 39 on BF!
  9. I bought a big bag of Christmas M&Ms at Target yesterday. (They were on sale!) I am going to put them out in a bowl for my guests on Christmas Eve. That is, if I don't open them before then!
  10. I watch them all. My kids and I have tons of Christmas movies. If it has something to do with Christmas, I'll watch it. Charlie Brown is my favorite. I just love the song when they are all skating around on the ice.
  11. My kids are 9.5, 7, and 4. I generally try to keep the # of gifts the same because they would notice if one got more than the others. My two youngest are girls and are competitive about that sort of thing and I don't want hurt feelings on Christmas. My youngest, especially, doesn't understand about $$. However, my 9.5 year old son, is starting to understand that if you ask for more expensive gifts, you may not get as many presents. For example, he wants an MP3 player. I told him that IF he gets one, he has to understand that is a more expensive present, so there may not be as many gifts under the tree.

My oldest two don't believe in Santa anymore. So if I say something's too expensive, they won't say, "But Santa could get it for me!"
