How long does it usually take to get the money back from rebates? Are Sandisk rebates reliable?

I'm pretty sure they're talking about the Exlim-Z60, but 1) there is no red choice and 2) they are sold out online and it says it's not available in stores. What happened? The price online didn't go down to $149.99 yet and they're all gone? It says it's an early bird item. Does this mean that they are really out or they still have red ones at the store? I don't want to wait outside CC for hours only to find out they don't have any. Any ideas?
