  1. I just got back from the Fair Lakes Target in Fairfax, VA and they had Baltimore Ravens infant and toddler cheerleading outfits for $6. My kids are strickly 'Skins fans so I passed but if you are a Ravens fan, it's a great deal!!
  2. How much do you want to spend? Ikea has a wooden table and chair set for around $20. My twins have it and it's great b/c since it was so cheap I don't get all worked up when the color on it etc. If you want to spend more $ (but not much more, the prices are not bad at all, I think) check out Little Tykes stuff. Swings, slides, house, cars--- all of that is good for a 1 year old. Oh, and sand boxes too. My kids love their LT slide and picnic table for outside and pirate "swing set" for inside. Oh, and "sand and water" tables are great too. My kids love theirs. Really, anything Little Tykes is good. The Leap Frog alphabet or farm magnets for the fridge are great, too. HTH!
  3. I got my DH a gps for the car but it was around $400...I am not sure if you want to go over your limit of if there are gps' for around $200 but if he likes his car, he might like one.
  4. Grocery Store CG and pre-paid calling card are nice. Also, a baset filled with stamps, note card/stationary (maybe pr-addressed?), return address labels- you can even make those on your computer- nice pens-- that kind of thing.
  5. Harry and David has yummy baskets. Their pears are awesome!
  6. I'd suggest a GC to William Sonoma, Crate and Barrel, or Pottery Barn
  7. GC's to starucks, dunkin donuts, Caribu Coffee Lottery Tickets-- movie tickets-- restaurant GC's iTunes GC's fleece blankets-- kohls usually has these for around $15 Blockbuster CG with the popcorn thing that others mentioned. Copy of a new release DVD like Pirates or Miami Vice
  8. How about a subscription to Teen People?
  9. Wow! That's awesome-- good for you. I have to admit, I am very surprised that they did that--but good job! :)
  10. just ordered a new double jogger-- thanks!!
  11. I bought my DH a Cuisinart Grind and Brew Coffee maker-- about $110 on sale at Kohls. And a gps for his car but that was over $150....I am not sure what the price range is for these but you might want to check them out to see if they are in your price range. Oh, and TiVO has changed my life. I LOVE IT!! :) I use it waaaayy more than DH. But he likes it, too.
  12. I'd say GC to a restaurant near her office. She can run out and get lunch for her and her co-workers.
  13. Good job on gettting elmo. This may not be a popular opinion but everyone had an opportunity to pre-order Elmo. (I did for both my daughters)The shortage = big sales because everyone wants to have the "must have" gift. The prez of FP won't care that you are upset b/c his strategy worked. The "top secret" scam worked like a charm, too. (I fell for it!!) The "going rate" of these hot toys is only the "going rate" b/c people pay it. Just like in real estate, if no one will pay $125 for an Elmo or $600 for PS system, there won't be the pople that make 200% profit on selling the "must have" toys. You can't sell houses anymore like you used to for way over market value (at least not in the DC area). I'm not trying to be a butt-head, just making a point. :)
  14. how much do you want to spend? what about a nice Coach or Dooney and Bourke purse? How about a new bag for work? LL Bean and Lands End have nice ones that you can have her initials put on. Does she work out? maybe an iPod that she can use at the gym or when she's out walking/running? Do you have a Brighton store near you? They are really nice, unique "girlie" gifts. Or how about a simple piece of jewelry? (no diamonds) A CG to a spa that she can use over winter break. Hope this helps
