    i'm almost positive that you don't need the original one to make the seperate ones work or why would they sell the seperate one? and i know for xbox360 guitar hero you don't have to have the original one. and i don't know about if any of the other guitars will work, i've always assumed no, but my nephew told me a couple days ago that his guitar hero guitar will work on rock band, for wii anyways.

    When I shopped BF @ WM last year, I got the cell phone updates by text message. I went to the store w/mom and we searched and searched for the secret item we wanted (kitchen aid stand mixer). No employees knew what we were talking about. I even showed them the text on my phone. Customer service didn't even know. We ended up finding two on the shelves, scanned them, and they were at the secret sale price! They were not with the BF items last year, and I am assuming that it will be the same this year. Familiarize yourself with the store and where your secret sale items are located ahead of time!

    were there any extra fees on your cell phone from doing this? and do they only send you messages on bf?
