  1. I love how they mark some items back up in order to mark them down.

     

    I was looking at a girls sweater dress, yesterday it was $15, today it's $20 with 20%off =$16. It costs more with the sale than without it! ugh :mad:

    There's that, and the item I'm looking for (jeans) they only have available in sizes zero and two. :(

  2. I still have Sharpies in stock in my cart. I tried using the coupon code and now it says expired instead of invalid. Staples really dropped the ball on this one.

    I get the "expired coupon" code now too. And I was gonna buy my printer cartridges with this deal as well as long as they were shipping me a box.....

  3. Took me awhile to figure this out....

     

    It looks like the one with gray darts comes with an extra ammo belt and 75 extra darts and the one with the red darts doesn't. That was the only difference I could find in the description.

  4. If the item has free shipping with Prime you can do a tiny order of only $3 and not get charged shipping for it and do that as many times as you want. You can go into your account and under "settings" click "manage Prime membership" and look at the top on the far left where it says "renew membership automatically" or something along those lines you click the "do not automatically upgrade" button. I am paraphrasing here since I already did it I can't tell you exactly what it says, but it's pretty close. Hope that helps you! :)

    Should I wait until the end of the membership to turn off the upgrade option? Or will I still get my free 30 day trial if I turn it off now?

  5. My 10 year old niece called yesterday to ask if she could come shopping with me and my friend because her mom was working, so she couldn't go shopping. So we took her along. I had loads of fun!

     

    We tried to get some McDonald's drive thru breakfast at 4:45 am, but they weren't open yet. We went to Walmart where we had a VERY good experience - polite customers, helpful employees, doorbusters in stock, and quick moving lines. (I got the trampoline I wanted! Yay!) After that, we went to Target where we had a very opposite experience - rude customers, nothing in stock, no employees in sight - we didn't even get a chance to try the lines! The two things we picked up we put back and we just left. I will never go to that Target on a BF again....

     

    After Target, we finally got our McMuffins then headed to the mall where I picked up a couple things at Sears and Boston Store. Then we went back to the awesome Walmart where we got the things we couldn't get at Target and got price matched, then we came home. Now I'm doing a little more shopping online and I have something to go pick up at Circuit City in a little while. All in all, it was a fun morning (except for the crappy Target experience.)

  6. I tried it. I haven't recieved the one I ordered a few days ago yet so I'm still a little skeptical that it will actually get here this time. If it comes dd4 will love it. :)

    I ordered one of these before christmas from Buy.com - it took quite a bit longer than I expected to receive it, (a little over 2 weeks) but I did get it. I really like it. Our whole family has the Sansa brand mp3 players now - they're very user friendly.

  7. I've had bad luck with TRU this holiday season as well (online and in store.) I remember hearing news stories about them having trouble in the past trying to stay in the black with competition from stores such as Wallymart. But by pulling this kind of garbage, they are just shooting themselves in the foot.
  8. Havent received my Yves Rocher stuff yet and they havent sent any cancelled email. Status just says submitted - I believe is the word they used.

    I'm in the same boat.

    Same here too. They haven't billed me anything yet either.

  9. Did you call Toys R Us? I have had such good customer service this year from them. They even have good hours on their customer service 800 #. It can't hurt.

    Nah, I didn't call since the stuff I originally ordered still says it's "temporarily unavailable online." Of course, the price is back up too, so once it's available, it will cost more. :(

     

    If it shows up available anytime soon, I'll call them on it though.

  10. For any of you that did the Toys R Us deal on Cyber Monday (20% cash back thru PayPal), has your order been cancelled? I'm sad. I only ordered two things and one was cancelled on Friday and the other was just cancelled today. I wonder why it takes so long to cancel? I've never had an online order cancelled on me in the past, and I've been online shopping for many years!

     

    And the Yves Rocher deal (with the watch or scarves) - has anyone received theirs yet?

     

    Sigh. Time to start digging for dh's gifts again.
