    Wii at Walmart - what are the chances of getting one?

    $89 is a great price, but do you think I would stand a chance of getting one? Do you think they will be available on-line? I don't mind crowds but I will not push my way and trample people to get one! :shock:

     

    Didn't they have them for a great price last year too? Anybody have luck last year - were they on-line then?

    Were you able to get it? They were rolling them out when I was standing in line for the Nabi 2 and there were alot, they still had some leftover on Friday.

    The wm we usually frequent is by major stores as we well as the mall, so I'm hoping with us going to a smaller wm it won't be as much of a pain.

    Have the store maps went up yet?

    Not until the 19th, I just hope they are correct. We were unable to get a few items last year because they were wrong. I'm testing out a different w.m. this year and it isn't a super center so, we'll see how that goes.

    Did the Walmart BF Ad excite or disappoint??

    I think this will be interesting because it will be on a palette and at such a good price, this is going to look like the towels section. People in the front getting theirs and trying to get out while others trample their way in. I would like to think a few hours early would be enough but hard to tell.

    I just want to grab two and run.... well walk really fast at least, I'm also interested in the trampoline and hope not to many people are looking for that. Think I'm going to call in re-enforcements.

    I will probably get there 2-3 hours early. We are going to have to eat thanksgiving dinner earlier also. We live in a small town though. If you live in a bigger town you probably need to get there even earlier.

    I'm thinking we are eating earlier since we usually do, but you know how that goes, the one year I want to eat early we will end up late. I usually go to a larger wm but I'm headed to a smaller one this year in hopes that it won't be so bad.

    There was only only one thing that really excited me and it is the reason that I will go for the 8 p.m. sale: the Nabi 2. This is the main thing on my daughter's list and we were not going to be able to get it at 200.00. I am glad that the price is now 129.00 so that I can get that for her.

    I was looking at going for the Nabi 2 also, I'm going to have to purchase 2 for both my boys. Are you going to get there early? I am planning on getting there early since I'm not sure how many they have in stock, but was unsure at what time.

    Know any Anti-Black Friday relative or friends ?

    My hubby, although I think it has something to do with him not only working every black friday but also in retail....as a manager.

     

    My 11 y/o expressed interest in wanting to come this year but he's a bit scrawny and not all that aggressive so I'm debating on taking him, I don't want to spend my bf in jail because someone pushed and/or hurt him for a 5 dollar dvd!

    I'm Kristal, happily married 9 yrs in Dec. we have two boys 11 and 8. I have been BF shopping for around 7 years, it's now become a tradition w/ my two sisters to get all the sales ads, pull up this site and sit around my mothers table after eating making a list of everything we want and working on our strategy. My husband works in retail so he works every year but even if he didn't he said there is no way he would ever be w/ us, he's seen fights, ppl taking from baskets that weren't theirs and just all around craziness!

     

    Good memories are one year at Target I was getting two ds games for my son. I took the last one of a game a guy standing there wanted. I felt the Christmas Spirit and gave it to him. Almost right after I did that, I saw my sister start yelling at a woman. I was lost at first until she told us that the woman took a toy out of someone elses' basket. She was escorted out of the store, my sister was thanked by the victim. From then on we dubbed her our security.

    Has anyone started thinking about their lists yet?

    My sons started making lists in July, of course it's changed three times already, but every list had an iPod touch, which I think I'll change into the new Kindle Fire, the price dropped to 159, plus I love the parental controls that will be on there. I'm still stuck on not knowing if I want a Kindle Fire HD, a Android or an iPad.

    Where are the TV's at in the store during BF?

    I'm new to going to Target so early in the a.m. for BF but I'm really interested in the Westinghouse TV to purchase for my two boys. Still waiting to see what Walmart will come up with but with all these mini sales they are having doesn't look promising.

     

    I've never gone to Target for the big ticket items, just for games so I was curious do they have the TV's out on the floor for people to grab or do they hand out tickets or what. Could someone please let me know.

    I've never gotten anything at Gamestop on BF before, I was wondering if anyone knew if they had their BF deals online?

     

    I was looking at getting the Guitar Hero Game for my son, we bought him a DS for Christmas and this is the game that he's been wanting.
